yeah, an e-pad is not too expensive with a little DIY. store bought electronic drums are way expensive and a rip off! just search on the forum for the thread and get a nice module

They complain that there aren't any gay shows, and then when they get them, they complain about how cliche the subject matter is. Piss off!

I'm perfectly happy with cliche coming out stories and cliche-r sweetheart falling for bad girl plots. I want to sit and jeer at the fluffy, mushy, over the top angsty shows. It makes me happy. It makes me get my mind off everything.

They praise the L-Word and Bound too much. Yeah, Bound is a good movie, but not because it's a gay movie. It was awfully suspensful. It gave me that terrified knot in my gut and I squeaked every other scene, but it wasn't a particularly heavy gay story. It's just in general a good thriller.
The L-Word is horribly unrealistic. I want me the butchy lesbians, not annoying ones like Moira. And Bette and Tina need to just die, and they can take the cranky beaner Carmen with them. The only characters I can stand are Helena and Alice, and that's a little patheic, don't you think?
Bad Girls trumps everything.
The story lines are fantastic. I like ALL of the characters. None of them are so annoying that I have to turn away everytime they come on. Nikki and Helen are the coolest couple ever. It's sweet, it's angsty, and it's got a happy ending. Their relationship is realistic, but it's not boring. It's got the fluff, but it's got it's fair share of bad luck too.
Why can't they just buck up and fall in love with it too?

What bass beaters should I get? I have iron cobra beaters currently, but they arent what im looking for at all. I just wanted some simple fat felt ones, but there are 109230 different types of those.

Someone help me, or point me in the direction of a difinitive beater guide. Im getting it off musiciansfriend probably, and all the beater ones (even the simple felt) are like 20 bucks a piece! Im gonna be spending 200 ****ing dollars on heads , sticks, beaters, and a stand attachment. DAMN IT!

I love that movie. I got it for christmas in 8th grade and I think watched it every night before I went to bed for three months after.
It's really fluffy, and some of it's pretty funny.
It's very um...candied, so I dunno if it's your thing, but I'd give it a watch.
