even if you're right I'll still be better off long-term financially and mentally
yeah cause nothing says mental stability like renting out motel rooms to sleep with ex-girlfriends you met on the internet and writing blogs about tacos and being 23 and having no real friends. and even if im right means youre saying you'd be more financially and mentally stable even if you were still living at home in ten years? yeah. being in your 30s and at home. real normal. |
left.
thinking critically rules guys. Like, if you ever wonder why we do anything at all. |
what

huh

No amount of your negative twists on my life can change how you're in debt and I have money in the bank. I am satisfied and have pretty much what i need. All this work youre doing for school to get a job to buy whatever the fuck you want can make you feel superior because you have the typical "I need to make the most out of myself" mentality, but the end result will leave a lot to be desired. I can go on but this is already copypasta material |
Tyler has debt because he has to pay for school.
derp |
why're you going to school then?
|
I have money in the bank. A fair bit of it, actually. Just because I've accumulated a bit of debt doesn't mean I don't have any money. Also, I love the assumption that being in school and having a job makes me a "go-getter". Maybe I'm just not settling for a confined life in my parents' basement? I also like how you've convinced yourself that my "end result" is going to leave "a lot to be desired". You're pretty astute and confident for someone with absolutely no real world experience. Though maybe 4chan's changed over the years and there's a thread for that now.
The fact is I like my life. Living at home sucks, and my house is a shithole, but I still have the freedom to go to school, have a job and live a surprisingly fulfilling life. Yes, I've got some debt, but I've also got a tight-knit circle of friends to blow off steam with. I go on dates with women I meet in public and not through online profiles. I go to gigs with people I actually enjoy spending time with. Why am I going to school? So I can continue to do these things to a larger extent. |
what
here's what you guys are doing: working to support yourselves here's what im doing: not working to support myself the end result is the same. We have food and shelter. You just work and I don't. I don't require the same things you need, which come with supporting yourself (girlfriend, friends, people think better of you, independence) |
oof
here's what you guys are doing:

I don't require the same things you need.
No actually my parents pay my rent because its cheaper than the dorms and they can afford to. Only thing I have to pay for is internet and groceries, which isn't that much and is well worth the independence I get out of it. I don't even have a job right now because my schedule wouldn't really allow it. |
here's what you guys are doing:

The end result is you're going to be 30, clueless and alone while the rest of us are starting lives of our own. Our debts will be paid off, we'll have the satisfaction of having actually accomplished something and you'll be lining up for the new Del Taco special. |
adb plz make an xtramnormal of this page
|
adb i will never understand your whole 'i'm better than you because i live at home at 23 and have no real friends' mentality
|

oh wow, saying I shouldn't assume things when you assume I'm not going to ever get out of my parents house AND saying I have "no real world experience" whatever the fuck that means. I may be perceived as a basement dweller, but to compare me to the societal rejects on 4chan is what i mean by you putting a negative twist on my life |
oh wow, saying I shouldn't assume things when you assume I'm not going to ever get out of my parents house
I was actually expanding on you saying this:
even if you're right I'll still be better off long-term financially and mentally
I'm going off of your assumption, not mine.
saying I have "no real world experience" whatever the fuck that means
It means that while the rest of us have to work for things, you're going to be left clueless because you've spent a decade sheltered with no expenses or actual commitments. You're totally secluded from reality. You're living like you're 16. It's not that having bills or debts is a ton of fun, because it sucks, but that's life. The difference is most of us will have experienced it years from now. All you're doing is putting your life on pause. |
so I need to work hard just to support myself? Nah, I don't think I'll be doing that for awhile. I don't need expenses or commitments but when they do come I'll be ready, you think you have to work hard or else you'll be clueless which is just laughable.
The end result is not the same. The end result is you're going to be 30, clueless and alone while the rest of us are starting lives of our own. I guess starting lives on your own means you automatically won't be alone. Your accomplishments will mean absolute shit |
what
lives of your own, congratulations. I guess starting lives on your own means you automatically won't be alone. Your accomplishments will mean absolute shit
If we've already got a social network of friends, we're a step ahead of you. You're comparing two different sides of this argument. You're the one without any friends; being alone is something you're risking, not us. |
WELL SHIT
I'm going off of your assumption, not mine.
which wasn't serious to being with because you were obviously doing your adb is hopeless routine |
adb is hopeless routine
Just pointing out that it's you who named it this, not me. |
i dont think youre hopeless. youre just hardheaded as fuck
|
yes i am hardheaded, but you guys are totally not.
|
The fact is I like my life. Living at home sucks, and my house is a shithole, but I still have the freedom to go to school, have a job and live a surprisingly fulfilling life. so basically the only actual difference between you and me is you have a social network of friends that may or may not lead you to a job or potential girlfriend. Congratulations, I am utterly shocked that anyone who makes decent decisions likes their life, amazing.
real normal.
implying you have to be normal to be happy implying normal people are happy |
me and adb probley gonna chill 1 day
|
typical adb vs. mx argument
end result: nothing happens, everyone still believes the same things they believed before the argument but I'm the only one who's hardheaded and doomed to be alone, unhappy and clueless |
i think ur cool
|
thanks new user TheBigDickInYourAzz we'll probably get along
|
i envision a future together
|
I still love you bro.
|
Why is it that I become really tight with the bassist in every band I join? Like, I love the other dudes in my band, but me and the bassist blaze after practices and watch Judge Joe Brown lol.
