I had to up my hours at my job too. My guitarist/roomate got laid off so i need to help with his share of rent till he gets another job im gonna have 14 strait twelve hour days ahead of me. I do wood working and carpentry so it's really *** busting. Well, good luck to ya.

I'm extremely excited. A guy on Talkbass is going to sell me his used Conklin GT-7 for 473 USD (that's with shipping); hoping parents won't be annoying and talk about how I already have two.

I've worked 41 hours in the past 4 days. 10 bucks an hour.... bliiiiiiing.

Marching band is a bass players worst nightmare. My back hurts from carrying the 200 watt yorkville around everywhere.

Besides family problems and being a freshman, my week has been pretty good. I got a fretless :) (although everyone probably already knows..).

My week has been a substance abuse week :D

school starts monday. time to kill my self. i put everything off so i had to read 6 books this past week. not too bad except two were 700 pages :upset:

I teach: Bass, DB, Guitar, piano, general music, songwriting, recording, and theory.
I write/head/cooridinate their newsletter, including the graphics
I work retail, and all the fun things that go with it...
I maintain their DJ website and then our Home website.

I'm the person who basically can do every job there, minus teaching some instruments, and so I get called on when we are short handed anywher.e

I just had a band practice and i hit our lead singer in the head with my headstock while i was flailing around. Other than that it was good, i made up some actualy good basslines for like the first time ever. We just got a gig for sept. 26 and apprently it's paying, which is good cause im lazy.

Olympic rowing is on at 2 am tonight. I trust I'm the only one here who's staying up for that. Yay for me.

I play bass for marching band. We use a modded Fender Can Amp with a bass speaker. Still, a little heavy, but either way its kinda fun.

Soo, HaVIC is totally annhilating me in our challenge. Either way, I'm fine with it.

Work has been a bitch. Two jobs, and roughly 7 to 8 hours tonight, tomorrow, and Sunday. Same happened Wednesday. Running outta time to bass.

School for me starts the 30th of August. That means, jazz abd pep band baby! All the bass for me. I'm gonna try out for this statewide Michigan Jazz Band. They get together the best players in high school in the UP of Michigan, we rehearse for a day, and concert that night. I've never done it before, but everyone that has in my school says I'd be a shoe in on bass.

I just made 60$ at work (5 hour shift, plus my wage of 2.65/hr), so I'm having a lovely night. I'll finally get to pay my mom back, and start saving for my new rig :thumb:
