I heard a Fender MIM neck + American body = pretty much the same as an american, so I was thinking about doing that. But then again I'm not even sure what kind of guitar I'm going to make or w/e so yeah...

I mean, just looking around that means I could make an American quality (or so I've heard) for like ~$300-400
