Yes, I will get you some Benefit too, and some other good underground rap.
Thanks :) I've been listening to Proceed With Caution a bit too much, I think :-/
Yes please :)
Alright then, I'll upload some thing and probably post them in a bump of your Wildhearts thread.
Hello, all. I'm back in Leeds. Now, which of you had I promised some kind of upload for?
I think you promised me some Bill Hicks..?
If not, it's ok, *cheekey* :p

Dr. Jake Destructo 04-17-2005 11:10 AM

Bart-Fontamas!

Thread- How hangs it

NP: At The Drive-In-Proxima Centauri

I bought this CD yesterday, and it was a huge risk, but so far, I like the results. I also bought Opiate by Tool, which I haven't listened to yet. I also bought Live in Pompeii, a Pink Floyd DVD. I watched half an hour of it, and it was pretty sweet. :)

ATM 04-17-2005 11:15 AM

Live At Pompeii is very good.

Leftover Crack, I think it was.

Jom 04-17-2005 11:25 AM

Bartender is probably flippin' out about finally being back on a fast connection. He wants to reclaim his title as #1 poster ITT like he was in the last one :)

Also, very random question for you (Bartender), but I've been thinking about this for a bit:

Did you ever use Audiogalaxy, and if so, did you post there regularly?

I'll explain why later.

Bartender 04-17-2005 11:27 AM

Audiogalaxy the old downloading thing? I used to use it, yeah (it was my favourite for a fair while), but then it got in trouble and started getting blocked and shut down and such, and I kind of forgot about it. I don't think I posted much, if at all. Why?

And, while I'm uploading other stuff, a random song for all of you;

Bernard Cribbins - Hole in the Ground

munky_magik 04-17-2005 11:32 AM

I <3 Newcastle. One day and I got Red Dwarf series 6, Don't be happy....Just worry, and Urge :)

Jom 04-17-2005 11:33 AM

Reason why I ask is because there was a certain poster there who had the most extensive knowledge of music, and everyone seemed to go to him for questions and recommendations about things. So, for whatever reason, I was assuming that by coincidence you were said poster.

His favorite band was Exhumed, though, and you never mention them... so it mustn't have been you.

Heh.

Bartender 04-17-2005 11:37 AM

Ah, no, wasn't me then.
I <3 Newcastle. One day and I got Red Dwarf series 6, Don't be happy....Just worry, and Urge :)
Nice. Which Urge?

And I still don't have Series 6 yet :(

Cain 04-17-2005 11:42 AM
Could you upload it for me?

Also if you want Celtic folk/metal, you need to hear Cruachan and Eluveitie. Some times it's just pure on folk with nothing else such as metal mixed in.
This is an extra late response, but I'll upload it as soon as you get on and reply to this. :)

Bartender 04-17-2005 11:44 AM

I like Cruachan, and I've been trying to find some Eluveitie to listen to for ages :(

What was he asking you to upload?

Part 2.
I also managed to get Signify and Moving Pictures(for £9) in the 5 minutes I had from when I arrived to Edinburgh and left for Newcastle.

clearvision 04-17-2005 11:58 AM

Signify is cool, but slightly boring, good sleep-music. Idiot prayer gives a good atmosphere though.

<3 to Bartender if he uploads some hicks stuff :)

We were in a Celtic folk mood last night, and Iron Man uploaded this amazing song by Blackmore's Night. I recommended a beautiful song called "The Dream of Talesin" by this flute/keyboardist duo Jeff Johnson and Brian Dunning, who are totally and completely awesome. He told me to upload it, but I left before seeing it. :-/
Hello, all. I'm back in Leeds. Now, which of you had I promised some kind of upload for?
Wildhearts.

Any material from them is fine.

Bartender 04-17-2005 12:15 PM

Okay, give me a while :)

All I seem to have on my computer is Rant in E-Minor :-/ I intended to bring back down with me some live stuff (obviously it's all live, but I mean bootlegged, rather than recorded by Hicks and Booth) and maybe Relentless, but evidently I forgot :( Have you (and IAJP) heard Rant..?

Celtic music is always good. Just been back and downloaded that song by Blackmore's Night (remembered that I could, now). It's pretty good.

Conflict - C.R.A.S.S. I just brought the album it's on here in mp3 form, so it was sitting there on the desktop.

And yeah, sure. I'd like to hear them.

This is my favourite from Group Sex, and probably the longest with 1:30 or so. Funny lyrics too.

Circle Jerks - Deny Everything

Short and Sweet, 27 seconds.
