I don't really like being put on the spot, but Organized Konfusion's first two releases come to mind. Ditto that for both Pete Rock CL Smooth full lengths.

yeah sorry but you seem to have a grasp on what is good so I thought I'd ask. And in saying that those four albums are definately classics. I think id list at least two of those in my top five for sure (both their debuts to be precise)
