I hate the feeling when you're all nice and cozy in your bed, then the alarm clock goes off.

I'm glad Daylight savings time is coming up, I woke up at 6:30 and it's practically pitch black outside. It's freaky.

I feel the same way. I hate jumping out of a nice, toasty bed into a cold, black room.

When does Daylight Savings start?

Kurtz 10-25-2005 05:16 PM

Ugh, I despise Daylight Savings. Stupid farmers and their feeding of the country.

Shred Danson 10-25-2005 05:19 PM

Oh shi...dude talk about the farmers around here and the kids here will lynch you

Let's just say me an my friends about 3/4ths through because we got sick of 'waiting for the good parts.' If there are good parts, they're crammed in at the end, and not worth waiting for.

What, a guy can't have a little diversity? :p

Before I went classic rock, I was a metal head. I wouldn't consider myself that anymore, but I still enjoy a few metal bands.

EDIT: What's a golden knight?

I was thinking high schools. I have a premeditated vision of MX being filled with older people. In reality, there are actually a lot of young kids.

In reality the youngins outnumber us old people like 10 to 1 :-\

xizoesira 10-25-2005 07:24 PM

I consider myself a master of diversity. When asked what kind of music I listen to, I tell them I listen to everything from Decapitated to The Marshmallow Kisses, and it's no lie.

(And then they look at me like, who the fuck is this guy?)

YDload 10-25-2005 07:28 PM

Nobody should ever consider themselves the "master of diversity." It's a pointless dick-waving contest that's been done to death in Alt/Indie and given a  everywhere else too.

xizoesira 10-25-2005 07:33 PM

Hah, it really is an indie thing, now that I think about it.

Steerpike 10-25-2005 07:36 PM

I'm feeling very happy right now. I give you tihs smiley as proof of that: :D

I have to do a ten-minute presentation on Thursday for my Astrobiology class about the New Horizons project. For those not in the know, New Horizons is the first probe NASA has designed to reach Pluto and its moon of Charon.

I've been trying to think of a way to present this that would make it a show very few people in the class are going to forget anytime soon. And then it hit me... H.P. Lovecraft. When Pluto was discovered in 1930, Lovecraft wrote a story about the inhabitants of that planet entitled "The Whisperer in Darkness."

So, come Thursday, I don my shades and trenchcoat, dress in solid black, and bring my little buddy to class to present myself as Agent Wolf of Delta Green, here to educate all of them on the dangers of the fungi from Yuggoth and how this is the secret purpose of the New Horizons project.

Yeppers. I live there. I also ordered it from Yahoo, because I don't want to take my dad into a CD store with lots of extreme metal in it. I mean, Flipside (the store), puts all the CD's with the violence, occult images, boobies, and other things an adult would consider offensive at their front rows.
