I finally got this as I think it was sean who kept talking about how awesome it is. I must say I'm a little intrigued by this but I don't know what to think about it. In terms of musicianship and originality, this far surpasses anything they've ever done. It's actually a really weird album for such a samey death metal band. But something about it just hasn't clicked with me so far and I don't know what it is. Some of the screams are annoying and the song structures are a just little bit too "everywhere" for me to follow first listen I guess

its great, its my second listen too. Not what I would call black metal but it does have its elements. Kinda more shoegaze imo
