NY beer prices are great, as long as you're not in a bar.

$1 Yuengling 24 oz cans? That kills the standard $1 Yuengling pounder here.
upstate I'm guessing since you're in the Lehigh area?

Long Island and the city all blow, even if you go to a beer distributor. Hell I saw a sixer of Blue Moon that was fourteen bucks pre tax and pre deposit at a corner store in Manhattan a couple weeks ago...

There is a distro nearby that has rolling specials on pretty good stuff, but a sixer of regular Yuengling is usually about $7.00 plus tax and deposit there...

i drink pbr because its cheap and doesnt take like sewer drainage, unlike schlitz.

(cheap proportionately because beer is expensive as fuck here)

also i should probably note that those beers are all brewed by different brewers in canada

Pechorin 10-03-2011 01:41 PM

I actually need some beer...

It was some cornerstore in Brooklyn.

It's like $4.50 for a sixer of Yuengling here, but it's local beer.

Pechorin 10-03-2011 02:21 PM

Yeah it's usually $4.99 to $5.99 in Atlanta no tax no deposit.

And some places in the outer boroughs are going to be a bit better...Corner stores can vary a lot I guess.

xMalcolmXx 10-03-2011 02:22 PM

yuengling is around 7 for a sixer here, haven't seen dollar deuces of it anywhere

Pechorin 10-03-2011 02:32 PM

And yeah meant less tax not zero tax in ATL.

Actually like the Yuengling Porter and Chesterfield as well.

REALY ITNERESTING CONVERSATION can we talk about jpop and batteries plaese? At least osme fucking DISCO????

xMalcolmXx 10-03-2011 02:40 PM

i prefer things that use double a batteries because they are usually bigger and better

Glitterati 10-03-2011 02:40 PM

pbr is great

Pechorin 10-03-2011 02:41 PM

BEER SATAN or GET OUT

Deth 10-03-2011 02:51 PM

yuengling chesterfield ale is horrible

the porter is ok but it's a relatively poor porter, just a really cheap one

Pechorin 10-03-2011 02:53 PM

I mean in comparison to getting good shit it blows but for 5-6 bucks some places I'll take it. And Chesterfield's always tasted a bit like a pilsner to me not an ale...

xMalcolmXx 10-03-2011 02:55 PM

is steel reserve a porter or a stout

Angmar 10-03-2011 02:56 PM

Never had Yengling.

Generally when I need a go to relatively inexpensive but drinkable beer I go for Pyramid, Red Hook, Blue Moon or Henry Weinhard's.

Eh; it's a slightly darker lager that is usually near the same price point as the Big Three. It's okay for cheap beer but not really good in and of itself.

xMalcolmXx 10-03-2011 03:01 PM

yuengling is good lets not get ahead of ourselves here

what are the big three

Pechorin 10-03-2011 03:05 PM

BudMillerCoors

Angmar 10-03-2011 03:09 PM
