well it still has the unique guitar lines and very french melodies like ballade, but he's tried to do something different with the beats and i'm fairly certain a lot of the fanbase will lol at him because of it

after listening about 5 times i feel it's their weakest LP, but then none of his previous albums hit me hard until i'd played the shit out of them

the beats could have worked if he went more industrial, but they just sound cheesy.

I guess I wouldn't fit in this thread too much, other than the fact that I like Celtic Frost and the newer band Triptykon. Something about Fischer's music makes it pretty genuine, emotive stuff - definitely my kind of black metal if anything of that genre.

pretty much every part that doesn't have an electronic beat (i.e. most of it) sounds like typical PN. you guys are tripping.

I'm not saying I don't like it, I just don't think it sounds that much like their older stuff except for parts of J’avais revé du Nord.

i have a hard time comparing it to his older stuff because its so incredibly different

I really like the album, but I miss the old medieval atmosphere.
