The Undertow art? Come on, it's not that bad. Weird, yes. But I've seen far worse.

Darkness 08-31-2006 11:35 AM
My friend actually tore those pics out and threw them away
I was debating that.
Yeah I saw that awhile ago he does:

Ticks and Leeches
Parabol/Parabola
Wings for Marie
Rosetta Stoned
Lateralus

i think thats it/ if you have an account on youtube comment him...he takes requests. I want him to do the pot
Nice. I'll have to do some requests myself then. He's also already done:

H.
The Patient
Schism (a small part)
Message to Harry Manback/Intermission
..and well some other non-Tool songs.

Darkness 08-31-2006 11:37 AM

I learned Intermission on guitar.

I wonder if I still remember it...

Has any noticed the similarities between Tool imagery and Beksinski's art?

Some "Tool creatures" or scenery from their videos seem straight from the work of Beksinski.

Salivation 08-31-2006 12:10 PM

could you give some examples cuz I just wanted to see so i google image searched him and didnt see much similarity

!aaa! 08-31-2006 01:04 PM

What is the terrifying artwork to Undertow? Describe....

Salivation 08-31-2006 01:53 PM

Fat naked chicks

Could even be guys. If memory serves correctly, there was enough hair to sheild us from the pain.

Salivation 08-31-2006 03:09 PM

i think someone should just post the album art...i would but im too lazy

Stoo 08-31-2006 05:52 PM

So I've heard.

You saw them this tour, right?

How was Isis?

Yes. Last Friday.

Amazing! Amazing! It was all amazing! :p

Magicaltroll 09-01-2006 12:49 PM

Awesome.

One more question...

Think there's a chance I could see the Isis guys after/before the show? like, do they do signings like some bands do? Or no?

Ok, maybe two...

I need to know if they were selling Isis' live CDs at the show, I don't know if you knew, but they're limited edition, and if they had them at the show, I'd have to get one. But it's cool if you don't remember.

Insipid2000 09-01-2006 08:41 PM

What are Isis like?

Txus 09-01-2006 09:05 PM

Isis are like the best thing ever (Sludge Metal)

Darkness 09-02-2006 12:14 AM

I'm pretty sure they had CDs at our show... damn! If I new they were limited edition I would have bought one for sure... blast.

repcak 09-02-2006 08:31 AM

I bought my Tool tickets today for the 19.11 :D

misunderstood 09-02-2006 12:23 PM

I just read a short interview in which Chancellor mentions they've been rehearsing '10,000 Days' and that perhaps it'll be included into the setlist sometime soon. Mentioned something about it being an emotional song (understandably) making it a bit difficult to play. I'd absolutely love to hear this song live! That is probably the one song off the album I want to hear the most live. Eleven more days until my show though...I doubt it'll be included by then.

Syncratic 09-02-2006 04:05 PM

Isis are amazing...

Trust me, I know.

I was brought to tears three times because of the intensity of the performance last night. They were beyond amazing.

That's when you know a band is amazing. Did you feel awkward shedding tears at the show, or were there other people there doing the same thing?

No one knew who they were :(

One guy was though, but that's all I saw.

Txus 09-02-2006 05:07 PM

The new Isis album is really beyond all limits of goodness (I think that's not even a word haha).

tr00 dat.

It's growing on me.

At first, I was kinda mad, since it didn't sound they evolved much, but then I realized that it doesn't matter, since Isis is... Isis.

Salivation 09-02-2006 08:11 PM

I almost bought it but i didnt I'm starting to regret it now

Syncratic 09-02-2006 10:42 PM

I'll download the new album when I get home, I'm staying at a cousin's house currently.

'Dulcinea' was excellent, though.
