yeah I got my copy on thursday, listened a few times, i agree with the general consensus mostly - very solid, but the snare can be a bit grating at times

i find it much more than solid, its probably my death metal aoty with immo, but yea the snare can be annoying. you can change equalizer settings to make it sound better.

idk what this means though

i still haven't listened enough to really make a claim like that, but it's up near the top for sure. vasaeleth is my no.1 at the moment
