Theres an old, quite horrible clip of me.

saars 02-23-2006 09:45 PM

well, i got some good stuff and bad stuff that happened to me today.

BAD NEWS: My little sister slammed the cardoor on my right ring finger. that means no drumming for a few weeks...

GOOD NEWS: I just saved a bunch of money by switching my car insurance to geico. nahh I finally bought the 21" a sweet ride off my teacher for a sweeeet deal of $125. It's basically brand new, barely used, but the zildjian logo faded. YAY!!! too bad I cant use it for a few weeks or so...

aznriceball 02-23-2006 09:46 PM

arggggh sunuvabatch.... I need red wine for something im cooking for some friends tommorow. they invited me for dinner but they're making me cook. they want something meaty, italian, and pasta-ish. but i need my damn red wine for the meat! stupid drinking age..its not even alchoholic anymore after you cook it... why is the world so hard for chefs >_<

aznriceball 02-23-2006 09:58 PM

so..eh.. what to do for this red wine? argh i go to college, work part time, band, and cook for/drive people around..but i can't get a friggin bottle of friggin safeway wine..

DuckinFutch8 02-23-2006 09:59 PM

just buy some red wine vinegar or something somewhere... Won't the taste close to the same?

I wouldn't really know...

aznriceball 02-23-2006 10:04 PM

Very subtle in the way I cook. Plus I just like the taste it invokes in the sausage...oye! If only an MX cooking contest.. I'd lose in the sandwich thing (it seems everyone here makes great sandwiches) but I'd definitely kick some bunghole in pasta and chinese food.

derryk 02-23-2006 10:06 PM

Quickly! Ferment grapes!

-TGP- 02-23-2006 10:07 PM

I make some amazing pasta man, and im 15.
Ohhh dayum it's good.

I can make SOME chinese food, like stirfrys, but they are relitivly simple.
My favourite is Beef and Broccoli mmmm... oh maaaan

Panopticon 02-23-2006 10:09 PM

nothing can be substituted for wine

/asked his italian chef sister...

she thinks i'm wierd now...:upset:

aznriceball 02-23-2006 10:10 PM

Haha, most food people associate with chinese like fried rice, chow mein, beef and broccoli, is american. Haha! I still have trouble with stuff like stuffed duck, and certain soups will drive me to killing someone. I'd really like to learn more about greek food..some really unique stuff right there!

Panopticon 02-23-2006 10:13 PM

im the king of whop food...spaghetti with butter...SOOO good...spaghetti with oil and garlic and stuff...also good...

Tortellini with alfredo sauce...

sexy stuff...

DuckinFutch8 02-23-2006 10:15 PM

I'll own you all in the ribs contest though.

I make me a sick rack of them. Baby back all the way...

Nice and tangy and juicy, falls right off the bone. And I can make a pretty good burger, that's about it though.

aznriceball 02-23-2006 10:15 PM

Ugh..to ruin my meal further they also want to eat ice cream and cake right after. For cryin out loud, I spend a year learning things like how to make crepes, and they want ice cream. &$@&%)(!&$)%

DuckinFutch8 02-23-2006 10:17 PM

vanilla Ice cream with a chocolate or raspberry sauce served to the side of the crepes... that's good right there... Like a Pear-belle-hellene (sp?) type thing would be frikin amazing

Panopticon 02-23-2006 10:18 PM

give em crepes with nutella and sliced bananas inside and roll it up like a fajita...

DuckinFutch8 02-23-2006 10:21 PM

god this has made me soooo hungry...

aznriceball 02-23-2006 10:22 PM

They would tell me that it looks weird..they never wanna try out new stuff! That's why I have I have to disguise my miugelli as spaghetti and meatballs. Meh!
