R. Stevie Moore - Phonography

"I Wish I Could Sing" is the song of the day.

Anxious 08-12-2007 06:13 PM

I have an R. Stevie Moore album but I haven't listened to it yet. I guess I'm afraid I'll get obsessed and try to find all of his albums which I read he has a shitload of. I seem to do that with a lot of artists with a ton of albums. I dont have time for it anymore.

Xiu Xiu - Knife Play
Joy Division - Closer

I think I could really get into Closer, but as of now I don't like it as much as Unknown Pleasures. As for Xiu Xiu, I think I just like them way too much.

CatfishJones 08-12-2007 07:42 PM

Idaho - Hearts Of Palm

thanks sexymuffin!

Zmev 08-12-2007 07:42 PM

Well Unknown Pleasures is better anyway

Coachwhips are pretty nice.
Coachwhips is really popular among friends of mine (I know kids that are really into Jon Dwyer stuff in general, Pink & Brown and OCS/OhSees too). I just recently caught on, and I really like these bands.

Haha, I guess it could be worse though...

sexymuffin 08-12-2007 10:06 PM

hahaha true

YDload 08-12-2007 10:07 PM

no i think RHCP is worse than the Flock of Seagulls because they didnt vanish after the 80s were over

Glitterati 08-12-2007 10:10 PM

A Flock Of Seagulls are good for ironic '80s pop appreciation parties.

RHCP however are just like a bad itch that won't go away.

Nothing is "good" about "ironic '80s pop appreciation parties."

sexymuffin 08-12-2007 10:21 PM

appreciating anything because it's ironic if you do is probably the epitome of being a faggot

Jacaranda 08-13-2007 12:45 AM

Ya their self titled album from what I hear is pretty solid.
To each his own. RHCP blow fags nuts though.

sexymuffin 08-13-2007 01:51 AM

agreed

<3<3<3 08-13-2007 02:09 AM

wait, since when do people not like rhcp?
They're pretty cool and make some sweet tunes.

Anyway, I've been on an Album Leaf phase for this past week.

sexymuffin 08-13-2007 02:11 AM

album leaf is okay, but i've never been too interested in anything they've come up with

like it's not bad, but it's not good either
