Yeah, it's one of my favourites from this year for sure. I actually missed Beach House when they played here as well, they were playing the same night as Melt Banana. I'm sure we'll both get plenty more opportunities to see them though.

Have you heard their first album? I've got it, but I've still to really give it a good listen.

yeah word they came to DC and I'm pissed I missed them, I hear they're pretty sweet live. that album's one of my faves of 08

i love listening to them when it's raining, i would say they are good "rain" music. and it's been raining pretty heavy here recently.

its pretty ****in hardcore i duno if they sell that around you but its rare for me

I've been listening to a lot of mellow stuff. One band is Karmina. They're an indie/pop duo made up sisters. One on guitar, the other on piano, both sing and harmonize.

Some songs I recommend are:

haven't listened to this in a while, i dig most of the songs but i think it's a bit too dark for me, always a really draining listen. "Black Swan" and "Atoms For Peace" are really great songs, the rest of them are good but idk, just rather listen to radiohead
