cmon now i dont just automatically like any black metal considered hipster. just most of it. ive said numerous times that i think negura's sound is way too, fumbly shall we say. **** just doesnt mesh well and it sounds really messy.

They kinda sound like Blut Aus Nord but with a more "progressive" edge I guess. Get Om if you want to start with their best.

And I think they don't sound like a mess at all, especially Om, I can see how you wouldn't like lets say their first album because its really symphonic and to be quite honest it's quite boring but the rest is great. But to each it's own I guess.

This first is cool, but the synth effects or whatever it is in it are kind of off-putting, I definitely need to listen to the whole thing to make an opinion though haha.

Liking that song Mappy, didnt you have another BM band before this stuff? You always have a band for every genre that i dont even know anymore.

The other black metal band was more of a get drunk and make fun of Ildjarn thing that fell through after we recorded one ep.

But I actually contribute to the songwriting and not just vocals for this one.

DSBM really isn't my style, but the song isn't bad.

Personally I think the vocals could use some reverb or something so it blends in with the overall sound.

Yeah, I can't figure out how to get reverb with Audacity. But like, I'm gonna re-record vocals at Erik's house sometime soon.

In Audacity there's an effect called "Gverb".

I use it all the time. Just don't go overboard with it, because it's pretty sensitive.

I'm just gonna use the reverb in Sonar whenever I end up recording at Erik's.
