I agree, but then again, it was JUST developing and starting to break away so they had to start somewhere.

I only really listen to a few modern hardcore bands, namely: Killing the Dream, Give Up the Ghost/American Nightmare, Guns Up!, Colin of Arabia, Outbreak (SO AMAZING), Modern Life is War, Have Heart...stuff like that. I probably only listen to like 20 hardcore bands, max. I listen to way more emo because I like it a lot better. It's just who I am.

I listen to quite a lot of 80's bands like Circle Jerks, Adolescents, Black Flag, Minor Threat, Dead Kennedys, 7 Seconds, Bad Brains, Gorilla Biscuits etc and it's all amazing.

For modern hardcore, i probably listen to more, my favourites are Killing the Dream, Carry On, Blacklisted, Champion, Terror, Go it Alone, Stay Gold, Refused, Modern Life Is War, Guns Up!, In My Eyes and a bunch more.

But 80's is easily on par with me, maybe even surpassing.

Don't hate on Shipwreck, man. Show some respect.

I did a post without the sig once in hardcore/emo just to prove it's not a big deal and I don't HAVE to do it. I do it for fun.

Why do I do it? When I first started posting here, I said to myself, "I want a sig." I stuck with "-Gav" and I've used it for all 21,000 some-odd posts I've made (minus like...5 or so). Everyone in the bass forum likes it. I get crap outside of that forum, though, but whatever.
