Well I think all of their work is great, but blargh, I'm not even that big of a fan.

BoboTheRagingHobo 10-23-2005 05:49 PM
I like how you added that NP. :-*
Huh?

wewt!

I found a power tab for Pyscroptic - Cruelty Incarnate, and I am going to attempt to learn it...kinda weird that they play in drop d tuning as well.

So many fast triplet palm muted runs in the song. :\

/goes to play guitar.

/cranks Pyscroptic

Lord Abortion 10-23-2005 05:52 PM

Man, Velvet revolver aren't brilliant, but the riff for Superhuman is pretty bloody awesome...

Shadows 10-23-2005 05:53 PM

Who is Pyscroptic?

You have not hear Pyscroptic?

You must get on slsk, or I can send a few tracks through YSI. They are a must to hear if you like death metal in my opinion.

Shadows 10-23-2005 06:06 PM

I do indeed love good death metal.

Just funny that you talk about metal and tr00ness and then add a metal NP.

Shadows 10-23-2005 06:13 PM

I'm on 1333 with Vikingcore.

RiceMonster 10-23-2005 06:13 PM
Nothing really. I listened to most of it, and I thought it was sounded pretty good. But as I listened on I started to notice striking similarities to Sonic Firestorm. After a while, all the intros and melodic parts seemed like they were taken right from SF and recycled for the new album. I though it was really similar to SF, which disappointed me. :(

But that's only from one listen. I love Dragonforce, so I'll keep listening to see if it grows on me, which I'm confident it will.
I see what you're saying, and I agree, but I like it more than SF. The disapointment for me was they didn't make their music more varied. They still have the same flaw, too repedative. Still a good album, and one of my favorite bands though.

Edit: I'm on 1333 too.

 I never thought I would even consider it. Then after listening to Dragonforce all day, it didn't seem nearly as fast as it usually does. I'm going to have to listen to something that's actually slow now to make Cryptopsy seem as they usually do.
