Hello thread, a lot has happened to MX, I see.

I am on a slower connection, so it's going to take me forever to read through the pages... can someone bring me up to speed for me, please?

Also, I made it home alright, thanks to those of you who thought of me and my driving excursion.

I took a wrong turn and drove through a real rough part of Detroit and I was afraid I was going to get mugged, but I survived and got home.

I saw huge black guys, drug deals, and pimps pimpslapping hoes. It was awesome.

I have zero rep points :(

I miss having the highest non-mod rep.

I'm pretty noob too. I didn't know about this thread until the Ultimate Metal Band competition when me, Vince, CreepingBlack and Steerpike took it over utterly and people directed me to this, since that became a community thread for all intents and purposes.

Bobo, I know you didn't mean it that way. The explanation for why I even dropped in on this place is above, and since I did it in fairly recent history, that's what prompted me to make that statement. I may be good, I may be bad, but I was one of the new people you were talking about. It's not a big deal though. :thumb:

I thought my cousin would be home-home in Chicago, and I was gonna go drive up [read: one of my other cousins would have driven us up] to see him, but it turns out he's back at school. A real trooper, that one.

Totally off topic, my band had a blast at 'All That Remains -This Darkened Heart,' with me singing, it sounded awesome, definatly going on the set list. Freaking hard though, considering im the only guitarist, and we usually play punk, but i wanted a change.

It was funny, cause our drummer is great, but mainly plays rock, he tried out the blast and was just like 'Yeh thats easy.' I was like, 'WAHHHH?' He blasted through the whole intro no trouble, with me trying to keep up with just down stroke palm mutes.

Kind of death metal/rock and roll. Death metal sound, but with rock and roll structure. Think almost AC/DC playing death metal.

It's sooooooo slow compared to uni's connection.
