I think I have that Clapton and King one, its pretty good.
Until I listened to it all the way through (which I'm doing now), I didn't really like it. But its actually very cool. Really cool.
Same here. I started skipping around at first, but once I sat down and listened to it all the way through, I loved it :)

To the newbie poster.....

Is Pusher on that Steppenwolfe CD? I love that song, best song of theirs I've heard so far.

Hello everyone. :)

I have really been getting into Classic Rock for about a year now. Though I'm into other genres also, I'm prodomenatley a Classic Rock fan. Lately, I have been getting into Blood, Sweat and Tears, Dr. John, The Band and The Grateful Dead.

Good enough reason

Is it impossible to listen to classic rock and not be called a hippie? Methinks it is

Yea it is, but when you mix the classic rock with weed and beliving in peace and all that good stuff then yeah.

lunch998 04-01-2005 03:05 PM

People call me a hippie.
People call me a hippie.
Yea same thing with me, though its pretty hard for me to argue.

magicbus 04-01-2005 03:11 PM

I haven't been called a hippie before.

pigonthewing82 04-01-2005 03:20 PM

Yeah I mean with my long hair, pot, and libralness I don't exactly not fit the sterytype. I didn't try or anything it just sorta worked out that way.

Jam2Me 04-01-2005 04:16 PM

I got long hair but I'm well groomed...more preppy than hippy..hippies don't shower daily...some monthly :o

Anyone discover any new bands they like...I like Harpers Bizzare, they're kinda psychedelic and poppy, good stuff..I posted a song a few pages ago.

jpj 04-01-2005 04:33 PM

My brother calls me a hippie every once in awhile. Like when I bought the Grateful Dead box set he called me a hippie.

LedHead712 04-01-2005 06:10 PM

Classic Rock is so much better than all that crappy rap, with computer insturments, and no real instrumentalists

LedHead712 04-01-2005 06:11 PM

My favorite bands are

Led Zeppelin
The Who
The Beatles
Cream
Boston
Santana
The Jimi Hendrix Experience
and, David Bowie (The Spiders From Mars)

LedHead712 04-01-2005 06:16 PM

I like Zeppelin the most though

No. What did she say?
No. What did she say?
She asked him, "Have you been playing long?"

ATM 04-01-2005 07:10 PM

That shows you how out of touch the Queen is with reality.

slowhand 04-01-2005 07:11 PM

Well, when the Beatles got their MBEs, the Queen approached Ringo and asked him if he was the one who started the band.

Shall we ask why?

Speaking of the Queen, I think I might be the last one to hear about Queen touring sometime soon

I sure hope not, them doing a tour without Mercury wouldn't be the same. It would be as bad as the Doors touring with out Morrison.

Oh wait :upset:
Well i have some songs downloaded by them (Electric Light Orchestra) and i really like them. What album would you suggest to buy and which are their "must songs"? Also in what category do they fit? I heard people saying they are prog and some others saying that they are a bit pop. Opinions/Suggestions? Thanx in advance.
I'm seeing Steve Miller that day. I can't hold in my excitement :D

And I think Queen is already touring Europe, but they still haven't made dates for a North American tour and they might not at all.
