New album is really good.
|
I really need the new album but i'm poor atm.
I might go pick it up tmr. Is there like a DVD special edition out now or something? Heard about something liek that. |
Ok I'm coming out of the closet, I like Coheed and Cambria, they are my #1 guilty pleasure, I own all of the albums except the new one which I'm afraid to give a chance because I heard the single and it sounded like 80's butt rock.
all coheed sounds like 80's butt rock though |

The Second Stage Turbine Blade is the best C&C album and I love the bonus tracks and the science fiction storyline.
|
"Elf Tower, NM" one of those bonus tracks is the best Co&Ca song period.
|
"Elf Tower" Meh.
|
Elf Tower is sick. The new album is meh, nothing will be as good as SSTB or IKSOSE. It just won't, but I still love them. I saw them last month and they played Junesong Provision, best part of the night, by far.
|
SSTB is the best album imo
|
Definitely.
Followed by IKS, then GAVII and GAVI. |
Still havent gotten GAII.... maybe i should just DL it now.
|
Definitely.
Followed by IKS, then GAVII and GAVI.
best list ever. that's the way it should be. I wonder how many people have fondled claudio's hair? |
Definitely.
Followed by IKS, then GAVII and GAVI.
yeahh ive been saying this forever haha gav1 sucks. |
Not all of the songs, but as a whole, its not that great. The overproduction kinda killed it.
|
Why the F*)# is Coheed pop-punk?
|
Because it isn't metal enough for the retards in R&M.
|
Oh interesting.

has anyone seen this? these guys are so weird... |
i saw claudios solo album at a record store the other day.
didnt know it was out. |
New video for Feathers.
http://www.mtv.com/overdrive/?artist=1241952&vid=205929 Sweeney Todd anyone? |
i love this band <3
|
i saw claudios solo album at a record store the other day.

whatt the prize fighter inferno one?
ive never seen it before. weird. |
When it comes to stuff like Co & Ca I tend to only like the stuff like A Favor House Atlantic and Three Evils (Embodied In Love and Shadow). The rest I dont care for.
|
Listen to Feathers, The Suffering, and Blood Red Summer. They're more poppy than the other ones.
I love all of it though. =) |
I almost wished I lived close to NY so I could see Neverender. I can buy tickets, just can't afford accommodations for six days being I would buy the four day package, and see the private acoustic show on the fifth day.
:( |
I love how I killed this thread.
|
this is in the pop punk forum why?
|
who cares?
|
I love how I killed this thread.
Ha you don't post in pop-punk much do you? And HBP: Old topic. |
they're alright.
|
Has anyone heard the edited version of 'Good Apollo I'm Burning Star'? It's horrific... make sure the CD says explicit multiple times before you purchase it.
|
this is in the pop punk forum why?
See: Second Stage Turbine Blade |
Has anyone heard the edited version of 'Good Apollo I'm Burning Star'? It's horrific... make sure the CD says explicit multiple times before you purchase it.
Ya, they edit out "cut", "whore", "die", "kill"... plus all of the cuss words. It truly changes the entire CD, for the worse. The much much worse. |
See: Second Stage Turbine Blade
calling that album a pop punk album is like calling certain saves the day albums post hardcore albums |
It's closer though. And BRS, AFHA, Suffering, Feathers have a lot of pop-punk qualities.
The main reason this thread is in Pop-punk is because it got the best reception here. People weren't all "The singer needs to grow a pair." and shi. |
im just saying the album is pretty much just a rock record with a high pitched singer and post-hardcore influenced guitar work.
and those songs all have more in common with 80s hair metal/popular metal songs than any pop punk I know. |
Well yeah it's totally more a straight up rock record than a pop-punk one, but putting this in rock/metal (since this was made before GA came out) would be retarded.
Nobody really cares about where threads are put, as long as there are a lot of fans of the band in that forum. There's been Taking Back Sunday threads in hardcore because people there fucking love them. |
its just this is the deadest forum ever
|
Yeah and coheed and cambria's last 2 albums blew so maybe this should be moved to a forum where people will appreciate it more.
