Man that cabs rough. Could the SVT II power an 8x10? I thought they were 200 watt heads?
There was a better deal in the trading post a while ago. Warwick Thumb 6'er with augiler pre-amp for 1500. I nearly died when i saw it. There was also a corvette for 1200. and a warwick pro fet 4 for 900.. |
Warwick Corvette 5 string fretless bass, swamp ash body with ebony finger board, black hardward, active pickups, stunning looks/tone, TKL case, $1,450.
Theres another corvette. Bass Amp Warwick Prophet 4, 400w. graphic Eq. bass mids & treble boost, Equaliser, sweep, headphone jack, mute switch, GCond. $950ono. And another head. EDIT: Do you think that guy would swap my warwick pro fet 3 and 50-100 bucks cash for his pro fet 4? :upset: |
ewww warwick. :p

I might get some D'adarrio's. My teacher is like a distributor of them, and gets them real cheap, i'l ask him for some. When I was at the Music Master Class yesterday, I was one ticket number off in a raffle for some new bass strings. Figures  |
no, rotosound flatwounds. now! :p

But when you've had the best, you can't get anything else.
I got my BA in American Studies, and I'm getting my MA in the same. Ph.D. as well. If I can hold out that long. :)
joe
lol and the cost? You're from the staes right? That' can't be cheap. I'm doing a dual honours degree in Biology and Criminology (Strictly speaking a Bsc but only because Biology is first alphabetically). I start my third year in September but after that I'd like to do a Masters in Parasitology (Molecular parasitology and vector biology). It costs about £1125 per year to do a degree, then £3500 for the Masters. Hopefully I can go on to a PhD too, but it all depends largely on the first semester of this year and whether I get published on my work or not (Crosses fingers) |
"way to bump up a gay tread" - seriously who cares, but il apologise anyway for devastating your life poppinfresh.... call me Shiva - the destroyer. oh and good tactic with the the gay below the line thing, looks like it worked a charm.
New bass forum gay person I spose? The Bass forum cares, threads like that are pointless and should be left alone. Hence me posting in here :p |

Criminology sounds like tons of fun. I was actually considering getting my certification in advanced applied forensic science. I've always wanted to do some sort of forensic investagator type of deal, but my math is extremely weak (and I mean BAD). I may still do that when I get some time, because it really interests me. And with a background in American Studies, I've been told that I could get into criminal profiling if I were to get that certificate. That would be awesome. About the cost, it has gone up quite a bit, and it's still going up. When I first started, I paid about $950 per semester (12 units, 4 classes) which is great. Just about anyone could afford higher education at that price. That was my first semester. My last semester, for the same amount of units, cost me just under $1300. For my masters, I paid $1100 for 6 units (2 classes) The price is still somewhat affordable, but also keep in mind that they are cutting the amount of loans and grants that they are offering. Raising the price, and cutting off the means for low income families to get a college education. Unless, that is, they sign up for the army.... joe |
Criminology is quite interesting but I suck at it. I'm a scientist and criminology is a social science and they really don't mix at all and also, I have a scientific mindset and criminology really isn't that.
Advantage however is that if I decide to bum out after my degree and don't start using my biology for a job, there are millions of jobs in criminology, it's a high employment area at the moment |
Where the hell is everyone? :(

I ate them... >_>
