I think both song are awesome.

Kithkin 10-14-2007 04:31 PM
dude, all the harmony vocals use the exact same interval and aren't very creative on any of the clips.

that's based on 1/60th of the album however, hopefully it'll be a bit spiced up for the rest of each of those songs.
His vocal range is less than an octave, so most of his songs use similar patterns. His voice has only gotten worse with time.

_Tyler 10-14-2007 04:49 PM

can someone reupload the CD booklet? Just the pages with Mephisto's Cafe and Watch It Crash if possible.

Henrik 10-14-2007 04:59 PM

I'll try not to download the songs already. That makes it more exciting to get the cd.... I hope.

SkaRobotArmy 10-14-2007 05:00 PM

the lyrics for the whole album are on some lyric sites already, just google it.

Henrik 10-14-2007 05:02 PM

And someone already posted them on here. Go 3-4 pages back.
And someone already posted them on here. Go 3-4 pages back.
the link is dead. I will google it though.

Jessizzle 10-14-2007 06:21 PM

I've noticed that in most of the songs. I don't mind it, but it is extremely noticeable.

DougJI 10-14-2007 09:33 PM

his voice gets the job done.

SkaRobotArmy 10-14-2007 10:50 PM

somebody on this forum once said 'his words are like zoom' i think. that pretty much does it, i like his voice.

Twin Human Highway Flares 10-14-2007 11:07 PM

"His words are like zoom?" I have no idea what that means.

Henrik 10-15-2007 03:39 AM

Am I the only one who think that Tomas Kalnoky and Evan Greer have similar voices?

SkaRobotArmy 10-15-2007 07:06 AM

We're Going Down Down Down To Mephisto's Cafe! Hey! Hey!

AIRIC 10-15-2007 01:29 PM

I hate the drums and backing vocals. Not hate but they're not as good anymore.

thunderzstruck 10-15-2007 03:34 PM

yeah the songs sound waaaay too sleak. but my opinions could change

SkaRobotArmy 10-15-2007 04:39 PM

i like the background vox in it, his voice sounds a lot more like tomas's, it's neat. the drums are a little weaker but i can forgive, everything else is bit'chain

Intransit 10-15-2007 05:27 PM

OMFG DEY R SO SHITTY WIT GOOD PRODUCTSHUNS WAT SELLOUTZ

Grow up guys. If you purposely like bad production, you are a juvenile mother****er. This **** is just as passionate, and hella more intricate than EGN.

I hate to say it, but after this album comes out, just about every other ska band out there should either put up something as challenging as this, or go home.

Catchthe22 10-15-2007 07:45 PM

Well your post wasnt very constructive but Ill agree, the actual production is much better and that so far the music shows just as much skill as EGN. The backing vocals I have no problem with at every angle (I actually have more problems with the EGN backing vocals). The drummer has a variety of drum parts in each song (a lot of the drumming is very similar to EGN drumming) and I cant ask much more from him especially since this is a variety of ska/punk. He has already surpassed most bands in the genre.

The thing I like most about it so far is that it has a lot of differences from EGN but it still shows their style a bit.

Transient 10-15-2007 11:58 PM

Down, Down, Down is so awesome.

Their gig in Perth is 18+ though :(

TakeWarning 10-16-2007 02:59 AM

Yeah, that really is somewhat of a punch in the crotch.

And who knows if they'll ever come back?

Transient 10-16-2007 03:09 AM

Yeah man, it's depressing.

I don't actually live in Perth though, I live in Bunbury so it's even worse.

WA sucks ***, nobody ever comes here.

TakeWarning 10-16-2007 06:37 AM

Yeah, and when they do it's 18+. It's a sad state of affairs.

Transient 10-16-2007 06:42 AM

I sent SM an e-mail about the 18+ thing and they haven't replied.

Which sucks.

Jessizzle 10-16-2007 01:15 PM

i borke, i couldnt stand not listenign to the new songs, and i love them aaaahhhhh

thunderzstruck 10-16-2007 02:15 PM

haha youre funny. I don't purposly like bad production. In fact, I can't stand Catch22's Keasby Nights just because of its terrible production, I think streetlights is waaay better.

and im not all like OMG THIS SUCKS. I like the songs as i said. I just prefer the earlier sounds that were more gritty and i thought it felt like it had more energy with the drums way up in the mix. Now I feel like it sounds like every other band as far as the sound of it goes, still good music though

Ghostfire 10-17-2007 08:10 PM

November 13th cant come soon enough. I'm stoked.

DougJI 10-21-2007 02:59 PM

http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d38/teamhockeystick/Picture336.jpg

so basically, I have tomas' hat.

Catchthe22 10-22-2007 02:06 PM

i dont think it fits too well sorry :(
