Ohh, thanks, faggot
Always got ruin the joke or coversation.
Just wanted to let you guys know he was still alive. I was starting to wonder how that acid trip went myself. |
:p
Speaking of Schyma, I don't recall him posting after he said he just dropped the acid. Hm...That was a few days ago.
Maybe he went insane with acid, like his idol Syd Barrett. /totally unfounded accusation /doesn't actually care |
Love that song. Don't care for her other works, too much blues and not enough rock, but that song is absolutly killer.
Same here. She just really fucking wails on that song. |
that's pretty much the only Joplin song i've heard.
np: Jethro Tull- Cross Eyed Mary
Oh boy that's probably one of the best rockers of all time, yet no one knows about it. Even though I've overplayed it immensly. |
my j eff beck bootleg was uploaded into the other music, jazz/funk, and al/indie live ysi threads. download it. now.
|
Yea do it guys, it's awesome.
|
OK, I'm downloading it.

Anyone here heard of the band the Van der Graaf Generator, its progressive/psychedelic rock from the 60's/70's, probably a bit underground in regards to this thread but great music, the dark yet trippy song "Necromancer" is excellent listening. I got that off Kazaa but theyve got a few songs listed for free download off progarchives.com
I bought Jim Morrison Life, Death, Legend by Stephen Davis today. I'm hoping it's good. I was going to buy either this, a garcia biography, or a zappa biography, I decided to go with Jim.
Yeah, I have that one. It's really really good.
|
I just got a CD called An Overdose of Heavy Psych. Pretty crazy stuff.

Speaking of Schyma, I don't recall him posting after he said he just dropped the acid. Hm...That was a few days ago.
I posted yesterday in this thread. (very short Coltrane conversation) I can't really type or explain my feelings for what happened on that trip because it didn't actully happen. The fucking dealer ripped me off. I thought I actully found it too. I'm devasted at how amazingly bad this summer has turned out to be. :upset: So anyway Funkadelic's Maggot Brain is amazing. I just love that "play like your mama just died" solo. It could have been acid just very low grade stuff (that's what he told me too) but I took 2 hits I think I should've triped. I don't know if it was the "acid" or not but all the colors got really bright while I was out walking around. Could have been.

NP: Maggot Brain - Funkadelic
I just heard it yesterday, but I think the live version is even more depressing. |
I heard "Bang A Gong" by T. Rex today when I woke up. Good song.

Electric Warrior is a fantastic album, one of the more underrated classic rock albums. |

Ohh :upset:
Funkadelic's Maggot Brain
I only really care for one song off that album. |

I know that a Budgie is a common household bird. Other than that I am clueless NP_ Bob Dylan-Another Cup Of Coffee |

NP_ Bob Dylan-Another Cup Of Coffee
That's a good song. I like the live version better. I love Desire, but I never thought it was anything near Blood on the Tracks like some people think. It's a good album though. Thread's dead tonight. |

I agree. I found it on some CD called "Bob Dylan Revisited- The Remasters". It has 15 tracks, one from each of the 15 remastered albums. It's quite a lucky thing to have found. |
Never heard of it. Is it like rare or something?
Maybe. My Dad used to have a bunch of friends at the local radio station, but since then they have all been fired, but he still has wierd sample albums hanging around. They used to trade albums for car parts and stuff like that |

This thread is dead tonight. *tries to kickstart thread* Blood On The Tracks is a great album, especially "Maggie's Farm." |

Ya I took both hits too of that same batch and didn't do nothin. It don't think it would have made the colors brighter becouse you feel a body buzz before you hallucinate. :upset: On the brighter side I hung out with a weed smugler. :D Blood on the Tracks is awsome. Highway 61 revisited is really badass too. Dylan is incredible. |
It is.
/doesn't raise eyebrow
Oh. My bad. |
My favourite of Blood on the Tracks is probably Meet Me in the Morning.

 just found out Jim morrison may have been raped/molested in his childhood. :upset:

Yikes, where did you hear that?

I've always really liked Tangled Up in Blue. |
Yikes, where did you hear that?
A biography on him, by Stephen Davis. It's very interesting to say the least. |
