They were absolutely terrible. It feels like at least 50% of the album is him soloing. It never really fits with any of the songs, they all sound relatively similar and they're just genuinely tasteless and unnecessary.

i didnt think the solos were that bad, or that they took up a huge portion of the album, but it is a really average album. i also need to listen more tho
