I've decided to buy single effects, and I'm going to be sure to try one of these out.

risbo 11-17-2004 04:43 PM

I'm just listening to one of the demo's on the EH website, it sounds pretty awesome, anyone got any ideas about the cost of this thing??
I've decided to buy single effects, and I'm going to be sure to try one of these out.
Did you know that you convinced me to buy only single effects too? It was awhile ago now...

Hmm..... it was kinda pricey 85$ maybe? It was 92$ all told with a new 5' cord and all.

FUNKNBASS 11-17-2004 04:45 PM
I've fallen in love...with bass chords.:)
Yeah their really fun, Stu Hamm does some awsome stuff with them. Thier a little harder on fretless but Im working on it.

Foxfire 11-17-2004 04:45 PM
I've fallen in love...with bass chords.:)
Do you mean, like, double stops?

Or the supposed "real" definition of chords? ("3 or more notes put together")

Rep+ for trying out something new.

neal_672 11-17-2004 04:45 PM

I prefer single, multie can sound a bit electronic whereas you mostly get higher quality if you get singles...

You could get one for half that on Ebay if used isnt a problem for you. You can even get a low priced Russian which in my opinion is so much better, but if you can try both.

Foxfire 11-17-2004 04:47 PM

ROFL.

I did get Russian... I was pretty sure I paid too much, but I had to buy it, it's addicting.

peeted 11-17-2004 04:50 PM

i dont think i have given out a single rep point and i havnt realy got that many either

FUNKNBASS 11-17-2004 04:51 PM

The Russion is wonderful, I love mine. The funny thing is that the American one is usually more expensive. What did you pay for yours Paul?

PaulSimonon 11-17-2004 04:52 PM

Hey Fox (And anyone else), how did you get a start on tapping?

neal_672 11-17-2004 04:52 PM

I've always found that weird, the Russian is cheaper than the American but better

Regarding Tap: I dunno i just kinda tried once, think it was with Muse - Butterflies and Hurricanes... I'm not very good at it though, need some tapping songs to learn.... Currently trying to train up my little finger to get used to tapping...

!!! Russian Bassballs, no reseve. Current bid is $0.99

Paul: I learned how to play the Country Music intro about 2 months into playing. After that, I attempted a bunch of other stuff.

I'm pretty sure it was 85$.

To add on to the tap thing, how can you get it to sound less stacatto?
