No one?

I know people in England who do...
he did slightly exaggerate, but i don't know anyone who uses Yahoo
it's MSN all the way

peeted 11-17-2004 03:02 PM

u knew what i ment wen i sed no one

ElKapitan 11-17-2004 03:06 PM

yeah, maybe only us Brits exaggerate and still know what each other mean

no offence to anyone

Spaceman Spiff 11-17-2004 03:07 PM

hey mx.

i saw Megadeth last night and it was incredible.
they played a good 2 hour set, the band members played amazingly together.
unfortunately, because i am a sucker for concert t-shirts, i threw down $35 for, i don't care though.

ElKapitan 11-17-2004 03:23 PM

is Mustiane touring with Chris Poland or has he got some other bloke in?

Spaceman Spiff 11-17-2004 03:33 PM

no previous member, besides Mustaine, is in the band. Chris Poland only helped with the recording of the album.
Dave Mustaine - vocals, guitar
Glen Drover - guitar
Shawn Drover - drums
James MacDonough - bass

i might be getting the instruments of the Drover brothers mixed up, but i think i got it right.

ElKapitan 11-17-2004 03:39 PM

meh
shame about all the sh|t with Ellefson, i always thought they worked well together

cant wait for mustaines new solo stuff he's mean to be doing. hopefully he'll be able to leave Megadeth behind him and write some good stuff (wasn't too keen on their las few albums)

Spaceman Spiff 11-17-2004 03:44 PM

yeah, Risk wasn't good, The World Needs A Hero was nothing special but still had some good stuff on it. The System Has Failed was much better than both of them though.

and i knew they wouldn't, but i don't get why they don't play anything off Killing Is My Business.

ElKapitan 11-17-2004 03:56 PM

i'd love to see them do 'Into the Lungs of Hell' and i really like 'In My Darkest Hour'

there were a few passable songs off the albums, but risk was just plain shoddy, especially that one they used for Universal Soldier *shudder*

Spaceman Spiff 11-17-2004 04:02 PM

haha, Crush 'Em was used in Universal Soldier i believe. and yes, it was pretty bad.
they did play In My Darkest Hour which was amazing.

neal_672 11-17-2004 04:08 PM

Is it just me or does this forum really not need another awards thread?

*is only saying this because he didn't get mentioned...again :upset:*

Ah well, anyone done anything interesting today??

ElKapitan 11-17-2004 04:10 PM

Tornado of Souls!?!?!? That's probably my favourite Megadeth song. i'd probably cream my pants and then pass out if i saw them play that live *sigh*

Foxfire 11-17-2004 04:11 PM

How many cables, and what kind, do you think I'll need for:

Bass->Preamp->Poweramp->Cabinet

ElKapitan 11-17-2004 04:16 PM
