i was so sad when i got a C in grade four. i asked my teacher why, and it turned out the person who transfered the grades to the computer messed up, and i really had an A

DJ Ducksauce 08-24-2006 07:44 PM

I have a friend who got upset when he got a 95 on a test.

masada 08-24-2006 07:47 PM

Is he Asian?

DJ Ducksauce 08-24-2006 07:47 PM

Yes actually. :p

He's going to some boarding school type thing for his jr/sr year too. It's supposedly 50% Indian, and apparently they play runescape all day on the computer if they play.

Haha.

He went there by his own choice too, and not his parents. He had a shot at valedictorian too.

I have a 4.7 something GPA atm. We use a 6.0 grade system because we're weird. :)

masada 08-24-2006 07:55 PM

Texas and big stuff. Pffft.

Right now I'm wearing a shirt that says "Ohio, We're Easy to Spell".

DJ Ducksauce 08-24-2006 08:11 PM

If I get A's or B's on my report card, I can get a insurance discount. :)

Is that Suma Vince?

Zach: Haha, no, but our city played Arlen High in the one where Bill's record was broken and then he won it back. They screwed up our school colors though.

DJ Ducksauce 08-24-2006 08:14 PM

edit:
usuk

ZaaR 08-24-2006 08:17 PM

is arlen a real place?

DJ Ducksauce 08-24-2006 08:18 PM

I'm pretty sure it isn't.

I meant in the show in my other post.
Dude that is the highest of high honors. Easily. 3.8 is the cut for the very top :p

masada 08-24-2006 08:20 PM

Q: Is Arlen a real town in Texas? Is it based on a real town?

A: Arlen is not a real town. There are two primary inspirations for Arlen. One is Garland, Texas, a town near Dallas, which was the town Mike Judge has said he had in mind when he first pitched the show. The other primary inspiration is Austin, Texas, which is where Mike Judge lives and where the writers go every year to do research for story ideas.
