Look at it this way, if the crowd loved it then it was all worth it. I'd rather mess up a couple of notes and have the crowd screaming than to play everything perfect and have nobody doing sh*t except bullsh*t with each other.

One thing I like to to do to keep ppl interested (We do get an occasional audience even though these are supposed to be closed rehersals) is play some weird, off the wall sh*t like the intro to Simpsons or Bonanza during soundchecks or between songs.

Sorry, I'm a little frustrated. I've never looked so stupid trying to get the simple intro down. I think the reason was 'cuz my teacher was telling me one riff and the cd has another and I'm copying the cd and he's getting all pissed.:upset:

Yeah the bassist kepy looking at me but only 'cos he was messing up to, just no-one could hear the bass.
Next time we're doing covers of themes like Tetris.

Well it must have been pretty recent. When would they have been at the same show? I'm fairly sure it wouldn't have been Woodstock '99 because I don't think Slipknot was any bit recognized then (but I'm not sure). I wonder when this would have been.

What instrument(s) do you all play and what Metallica songs have you learned on are surrently working on? I play guitar and I've been learning a few solos and riffs from various Metallica songs from the KEM - AJFA era. I've been mostly working on Fade to Black.
