I was watching ABC News last night, and they was saying petrol prices have rose 55% or something, i mean, thats riduclas, surly thye didnt need to go up that much, its stupid.

Yeah, petrol and airplane prices are going up here in the UK, because we can't get any oil apparently.

Yeah, it's been proven that they have more gas at the moment then when the hurricane first hit. Yet the prices are way higher than when it first hit.

Yer, and not there threatening to blockade the oil refineres like back in 2001, i think it was, i forget. But thats for the tax though, nothing to do with the actual rise as such, just taking advantage. When american sorts itself out our prices will go down agian.

America won't sort itself out for a [i]long[/i] time. I don't mean that as offense, but seriously, it will take years to repair New Orleans to a living state. And until then, cities will be overcrowded and it will be very messy

Absolutely. There is no quick way to rebuild that city. They have to drain all the water, and begin clean up before they even think about doing anything else, and that is going to take quite a while. It will be many years before New Orleans is even close to the way it was.

I wonder if everyone in the stadium just craps on the floor or goes to the bathrooms.

Bush has given them money to get the levys to be able to withstand a cat. 5 instead of a cat. 3, but the Louisana government never upgraded them. The mayor of New Orleans said that in case of a hurricane, you are on your own.

You can always search for stuff. It's good to learn new things about bands you like but don't know much about. You don't have to do one on a band you know entirely everything about, as that takes all the fun out for you.

Thats what I did for Flogging Molly. But, there was a lot of quotes, and not as much information. So i put a lot of quotes that tell about the band in there.

So im watching the news, and in new olieans, theres been a dead body lay on a street for like 6days or something they said, and the corrisopondant asked some army people if there moving it, and they said its not there job, same with some red cross people and police.

come on, how hard can it be to move a body? Its not like there single handly rebuilding the leveys.

Yeah, but I don't blame them for not wanting to do it if they don't have to. Someone will have to eventually, they just hope it isn't them.

I don't mind if it's not Pop-Punk as long as it isn't too far off either. FAs are for learning about bands (both for the writers and readers) so if you want to try and put one together I'll sign you up. You've got time to drop out too :)
