My thoughts exactly, plus the guy that got totally *** raped by the giant douche bags looked exactly like Dickey Betts. It was like this guy vs. this guy
How was the new material jpj?
The new material was awesome. Hittin' the Note (their latest album) is really good, I definitely recommend it. Also, as I was walking out of the venue I thought, "Would it have killed them to play Whipping Post for the encore?" |
That's awesome I can't wait to see them Aug 21.
I'm guessing moe. was awesome too? I saw Pure Prairie League last night, "Amie" was the encore and highlight. Free concerts on the green have been good this summer, Blues Traveler next week. |

I don't know if I wasn't paying attention or if they just didn't play anything off of Wormwood, Tins Cans and Car Tire, or W&A Vol. 3 (the ones I have other than No Doy). |

I hear alot of them because they're CanCon. |
I don't think Triumph is un-noticed. They get a fair share of radio time where i live. They're a good, i guess glam would be the way to describe them, band. They've got some songs i really like, but i really haven't heard much beyond their radio stuff.

Andre The Giant would destroy Dickey Betts.
Assuming he was alive. |
Just got done watching the Bonnaroo 2002 movie. Pretty good, Gov't Mules performance was great, Warren Haynes is damn good at guitar. Widespread did Blue Indian which was great too. Weir and Lesh were pretty good too :)

Its so easy if it is GA and someone is drunk, all you have to do is complain about someone blocking your view I saw someone pass out at a Dylan concert hXc++++ |

Have any of you heard of Derek Bailey, The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band or Tony Williams? |
Triumph just sounds bad based on the name of their songs.
/close-minded. |
Triumph just sounds bad based on the name of their songs.
/close-minded.
I was thinking the same thing :D |
I can just hear the glam in my head after reading them.
|
I bet they sound like Foriegner. Sort of bland classic rock.
|
RNR would love them I guess.
Actually he probably already does love them. |

Dana Carvey did a sketch parodying some some that started out "She's cold as Ice... Paradise" It is really quite the classic, it is during the credits of "The Best Of Dana Carvey" ...you know... the guy who played Garth in Wayne's World |
