RetiredAt21 03-02-2010 10:54 AM

Indeed, my previous statement was far too general.

EDIT: Resurgence I: Descent Through the Abyss and Resurgence II: Where the Dying Meet the Dead are both good.

RetiredAt21 03-02-2010 11:52 PM

Yeah pretty much. They aren't bad just kinda samey.

Morumbar 03-03-2010 11:26 AM

Found out that Ynleborgaz plays in another band called Angantyr. Sounds interesting from what I've heard on myspace. Anyone listen to this stuff? If so, what album should I pick up first?

Stormrider 03-03-2010 03:41 PM

Get Kampen Fortsætter.

I have Furdidurke's self titled demo and I really like it.

Txus 03-03-2010 03:43 PM

Furdidurke are good stuff.

Been listening to the new Darkthrone quite a bit the past two days, it's so ****ing good.

Morumbar 03-03-2010 03:47 PM

Thanks, I'll give that a listen.
@ Stormrider

Can't seem to find a Furdidurke myspace page or anything, but a review on metal archives says it's similar to Ildjarn. Is this true? I'm not really into Ildjarn myself.

RetiredAt21 03-03-2010 03:50 PM

I used to not like Ildjarn but after I gave Forest Poetry a proper listen it really grew on me. Strength and Anger, too.

Stormrider 03-03-2010 03:56 PM

Check out Furdidurke anyway even though you dislike Ildjarn. They're pretty different.

Txus 03-03-2010 04:00 PM

I still don't like Ildjarn for some reason.

Aakon_Keetreh 03-03-2010 04:35 PM

forest poetry is his only good release anyway. and i find it hard to like sometimes

Angmar 03-03-2010 04:42 PM

recommend me some nsbm gogogo

other than nokturnal mortum

Stormrider 03-03-2010 05:27 PM

I take back every negative thing I've said in the past about Foredooming the Hope for Eternity. I think I rather this as a whole to Like a Blaze Above the Ashes.
