Where do you live?

evilmenhavenosongs 08-22-2005 11:02 AM

:upset: That's pretty awful. Hope they catch the guy and you don't find any bodies.

This is my new cousin called Charlotte Alice. She was born at 5 this morning and has really deep blue eyes. She opened them for me. :D

So, I've officially started packing for uni.

My plan is to take an extremely large number of socks so that I don't run out.

In the last picture, she looks kind of like she tried to bite into a lemon.

Baby's are interesting in that it's a joyous occassion when they're born, but in the next couple of years, they become the overlord of everyone and everything within earshot.

My family actually had to give our first dog to a family friend when I was a baby because of me. My shrill voice and tendency to rip out large handfuls of his fur turned the poor dog into a nervous wreck within a few months. I hope for the sake of your aunt and uncle that little Charlotte doesn't feel quite so destructive as my siblings and I did.

Good idea, socks always go inexplicably missing.

MBS 08-22-2005 11:56 AM

Sup guys, just got home last night, but had a monster dehydration attack and was throwing up in the bathroom, so I only posted in Med's FA and logged off.

How is everyone?

CaptainWaits 08-22-2005 12:04 PM

My grandma has three dogs and my aunty has one, so lets hope she doesn't take to ripping out their hair. She will be the overlord of everything for ages (I just wish she'd waited till after my exam results :p) but I'll be glad to have a cousin that knows me while it's growing up. I've got about five other cousins who I see once a year and I'm looking forward to the opportunity to mould someone into my likeness. It's like ready made minions. ;)

I wondered why the Official thread names were changed...

Jom 08-22-2005 12:13 PM
I wondered why the Official thread names were changed...
To stop people from doing the whole ***OFFICIAL*** thing in their titles, hopefully. Or, just so it'd be easier to find in the search.

/guess

I like the new name of the Tool thread. :p

That came as a surprise to me...

Dr. Jake Destructo 08-22-2005 12:30 PM
I like the new name of the Tool thread. :p
I got scared for a second, because I searched the first few pages for it, and I was like omfg, they deleted all 950 of my posts in that thread! Then I saw it on the front page under a different name. It's quite the name, I must say. GG to AJIG for the idea, too.

Yeah, at first I though that someone made a Metallica thread and I was going to report it, then I realized it was the Official thread.

I'm jealous now. Uni is in the city I live, I wont be moving away :(

Illmatic 08-22-2005 01:16 PM

Happy birthday to former Giants, Jets, and Patriots coach Bill Parcells, baseball Hall-of-Famer and Red Sox legend Carl Yastrzemski, former Living Colour guitarist Vernon Reid, and the Wu-Tang Clan's GZA :)

In the comics section of the Boston Globe they have a "What Happened On This Day" bit, which includes birthdays of famous people. So...yeah.

So I've also begun to pack for college.

Also, Woodstock: The Movie on VH1 Classic all weekend pissed me off. I love that channel, and I've already seen Woodstock: The Movie.

Stoic 08-22-2005 01:23 PM

it's begun, I understood nothing from the first two paragraphs nevermind :p

So now that you're all back to school/college/uni will you be on as much as you were the whole summer? I have no idea about my schedule yet but I'm sure I'll be on maybe not the whole day but at least every night :)
