Quite honestly, the DU itself is not illegal.

The actual downloading of the files by individuals is what's illegal. So I don't see a reason why we can't continue with the DU. Sharing a link is not unlawful, no matter how much someone wants to bitch about it.

It's not illegal downloading them here. Someone outside of the US should run it. If it's private, it's private. Personal use and such.

I've gotten letters from US companies and I just tell them to **** off. It's organized on here but nothing is hosted or provided from this server.

Yeah, I got one telling me to cease and desist Kung Fu Hustle. But they only had my IP address. In Canada, it's illegal for your ISP to provide any personal information about you based solely on your IP address, though.
