I got an e-mail from my ISP today saying that FOX contacted them to let them know I illegally downloaded "Predators" (which I couldn't even get to work) a few weeks ago. That was kinda scary. IDK if I'm gonna keep using uTorrent now. You guys had any similar experiences?

have a friend who downloaded some unpopular hasselhoff movie from the 80's and got a similar e-mail. he exclusively uses rapidshare, etc. now.

I had this a few years ago, but the laws are different here. Here it's illegal for your ISP to disclose any personal information to a 3rd party. It might not be so in the US.

I'd suggest, if not taking a break or stopping altogether, be more cautious of what you're downloading. If you see an inordinate amount of trackers, there's a reason.
