That's pretty much on the button.

fatbandit 05-22-2009 05:06 PM

The guitarist in Incubus actually has a pretty small pedalboard if I remember rightly. Mostly uses his ring mod for weird effects.

Epidemechanical 05-22-2009 06:12 PM

incubus sucks

gaslight 05-22-2009 06:36 PM

This guy .
Learn to set it up yourself? It's not hard to do man. All you need is a tuner, allen keys, a Phillips head screwdriver, and a bit of time.

1. Adjust neck if needed
2. Restring
3. Tune up
4. Set action how you like it
5. Retune
6. Check the intonation by holding at the 12th and seeing if it's in tune
7. Adjust intonation at the bridge
8. Dig on that ****
Restring first, so you neck can adjust to any changes in tension. :)

neatobassman 05-23-2009 02:22 AM

I love how there are still people here from when I used to troll....

What's that website that we used to use to host music?

funkyhoney 05-23-2009 05:58 AM
so is 99.97% percent of other things discussed on these boards, apparently.
Haha yeah that's what I was getting at too.

funkyhoney 05-23-2009 06:46 AM

Argh, can't concentrate.

Epidemechanical 05-23-2009 08:43 AM

are you implying that i am overly negative and hate everything?

right cause incubus = everything jesus ****in christ you people never cease to amaze me

fatbandit 05-23-2009 08:44 AM

incubus have had moments of brilliance, and moments of pure toss, but i still like them

Spaceman Spiff 05-23-2009 09:32 AM

Some of their earlier stuff wasn't bad. SCIENCE, Make Yourself, and Morning View have some songs that I really like.

funkyhoney 05-23-2009 09:34 AM

I like Redefine. That's bout it.

Spaceman Spiff 05-23-2009 09:37 AM

I saw them live a long time ago, I think they were touring for Morning View. Deftones opened for them. It was a very enjoyable show at the time.

fatbandit 05-23-2009 09:57 AM

I saw them 2 years ago and they were amazing.

gaslight 05-23-2009 09:57 AM

Incubus are tight musicians. Haven't been interested in their songs for a few albums now but I'd never say they were a bad band.

Spaceman Spiff 05-23-2009 09:58 AM

I've hated everything they've done since after Morning View.

gaslight 05-23-2009 10:05 AM

Brandon was always going to lose the plot when he got old.

funkyhoney 05-23-2009 10:11 AM

I like my band better.

http://www.myspace.com/riverstonehaze

opinion?

Spaceman Spiff 05-23-2009 10:11 AM

I love that phrase.

There are a couple good concerts coming up that I'll probably be going to.
June 2 - TV On The Radio
June 16 - Teenage X
June 17 - CKY

Good month for concerts. Plus, I'm playing one on June 26th. And hopefully another one earlier in the month.

BenJammin 05-23-2009 10:34 AM

I need Jeremy to come back from Europe so we can write more, and actually put a band together.

neatobassman 05-23-2009 01:34 PM

Incubus is amazing live. Going to throw that out there.

Epidemechanical 05-23-2009 01:40 PM

incubus suffers from some of the worst mixing and post-processing ive ever heard

jordan turned me on to pay attention to the mix of incubus for an example of pro audio engineers who suck ****

fatbandit 05-23-2009 01:45 PM

Any particular albums? I quite like the sounds of most of their albums, for what they are.

Are you talking about their albums or their live stuff?

Their live dvd's are pretty damn good. Specially Look Alive, that thing is tight.
