According to polls, you aren't alone, just here you are.

Don't let us affect you, if your beliefs are strong, stand up for them, just be respectful, and we will

:)

I love seeing people stand up for their belief.s

Ew, Pittsfield, thats gross.

But really?

Jody LeCompte 07-15-2006 08:12 PM

I get all sorts of crap because I play guitar and dont like metal.

I guess everyone forgot the generations and generations of good guitarist before metal was even spawned.

Criss Frantic 07-15-2006 08:12 PM
Use them in an emergency situation. Like when Peter Griffen had a pony for Meg in the closet..but it was dead.
Ahahahah, that was classic.

Radiobass81 07-15-2006 08:13 PM

Driven to Tears is an amazing song.

First time I heard it, it was a cover, with Eddie Vedder singing it. Amazing.

Came to mind now, sorry.

Jody LeCompte 07-15-2006 08:13 PM

Doug: It really doesnt hurt my feelings when people dont share my beliefs but what really gives me the blues is when people just wont respect I have them.

And that goes for anything, not just religion.

Omg I only just got that

I respect Christians as individual people, its just when they get together in big groups/governments that they piss me off.

EDIT: Yes, yes he does.

Jody LeCompte 07-15-2006 08:14 PM

Radiobass81: Eddie Vedder is one of my favorite vocalist, even after all my pearl jam cds disappeared(damn younger siblings). So much raw emotion, I love it.

-waits for gav to pop up-

funkyhoney 07-15-2006 08:14 PM

It's an amazing cover. I heard it a LONG time ago. It was a video of what seemed to be an old band of his, or something.

Are you close enough for a folk jam?
Metal guitar =/= good.
As far as guitar I like 90s alternative rock most, but alot of funk, jazz, blues, soul, really mellow happy stuff.

I try to diversify myself, I've been getting into folk ALOT lately, but I just cant find joy playing metal.

Hello.

Jody LeCompte 07-15-2006 08:17 PM

sonicreducer: Where do you live now?

Doug: I like classic rock and older more mellow metal like Sabbath and Maiden, and occasionally Im even in a metallica kind of mood. But thats about it as far as metal. I pry a bit into progressive metal but its not anywhere near the same, to my ears atleast.
