We did that for the last day of school last year.

So today I was talking to a kid when I went for extra-help in music, and the guy asked me if I wanted to drum for him because he's trying to start a band. I suck at drums, and I'm not exactly friends with the guy, but it would be nice to drum.

I tell everyone....you dont need any lessons to be good at a music. Just go practice with him a few times and see if you like the music, youll get the hang of the drums. I have drums in my house (just for my bands practice) and i dont use them myself very often, but i could probably be in a band as a drummer. With a little practice im sure you could.

They also probably wouldn't be playing music I would want to play.

He isn't a bad bassist. He was playing in the music room at the end of the day. I'm not sure who the guitarist is, and I'm not sure if they even have a singer. They will most likely want to play rock or metal, but I would do my best to get them to not.:p

This is probably why there are lots of terrible drummers :-/

I'd sing for them. haha. Hardcore though :p

Well if I was playing drums for a band, I would much rather have a hardcore band. Well more punk.pop-punk style, and then eventually get into hardcore once I become a better drummer.

If they need a singer, I will tell them you are interested.:p

Chris: New Underoath = wannabe The Bled + Norma Jean, from what I've heard. You hear it yet...anyone? I'm getting it now out of curiosity.

I never liked anything from underoath.

The old stuff was kinda crappy metal, and theyre only chasing safety was popcore that was soooo overrated.

B 03-28-2006 04:41 PM

I've heard it. I actually like it a lot. It does sound kind of like what you said I guess.

Spencer's vocals improved exponentially IMO.

cobert 03-28-2006 04:52 PM

Now's the part of the show where we quote random lyrics.

IM SO TIRED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LOOKING INTO MIRRORS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
JUST TO SEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
THE REFLECTION CRYING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

His range is sweet but I liked him doing highs better. That's just my preference, though. I only like UO vocals, not the music. Popcore = :(

Even old UO bored me...metal sucks.

Man that non pop punk bands thing is ridiculous. We should rename it to the "bands we talk about it in here anyways."

Permanent Solution 03-28-2006 06:44 PM

mehr...I don't like anyone's lists so far. 20 is going to kill.
