Yeah, the Deafheaven leak was an unmastered version of the album.

Definitely looking forward to the new Altar of Plagues, btw. I read in an interview that they tend to put a lot more work into recording and mixing shit properly for full-length albums, so I think we can expect a clearer sound than on Tides. Idk, I guess we'll just have to wait. Pretty sure it won't disappoint, though.

As for the Liturgy interview, I think I'm probably more open to transcendental elements in Black Metal, and spiritual ecstasy, as he put it, than most Black Metal fans, but no, no, you're not supposed to come out and say that, jeesh. Way to ruin it if that's what you're trying to achieve...
