It is VHS only. Some people have probably transferred it from the VHS to the DVD, and some are personal bootlegs.

No it wasn't.
Only VHS and bootlegged copies are available on the market.
It was meant to come out earlier but if it did the Pink Floyd Managment would have had to compromise many special features. They decided not to and pushed the release date back to Late Febuary or March 2005.
