Ok, then my hunch is wrong.

It was kind of stupid actually. I thought that everyone who joined in 2004 that had stars when rep disappeared got knocked down to three, and everyone before 2004 have whatever amount of stars they had, like four, etc. And then everyone that had three or no stars all have zero now. But that's really kind of silly.

They'll figure something out. They have rep systems on other sites. There's ways to fix it so that there's a way to reward people who deserve it without abusing it.

I wasn't suggesting a return to rep, I was just saying there are ways to reward. Rep is too easy to abuse since it depends on numbers. I'm honestly not too sure what happens on other sites. Guitarbt ranked its members on number of helpful contributions, in terms of one to four squares beside the user title, but the nature of that site is you post your backing track and you respond on the tracks provided: it's not a discussion forum, which means there are few clever insults to be repped for. And that site closed down anyway, so...
