Someone needs to do something about the recommendations thread, people are just posting bands that they like without saying what genre they are at all.

I posted some Rocksteady info in the ska education thread. It's mainly taken from the liner notes of the Trojan Rocksteady box set. Which (as I said before) is considered by many (Mark Lamarr and the bloke in my local independent record store who knows a lot about ska and reggae) to be the best Trojan box set.

yeah i've heard that one's supposed to be killer. i've got a £12 Virgin voucher so i might go spend that tomorrow.

Van should have a ska fest. Actually, Victoria's ska fest (which I missed this year) is world renowned . Is Toronto skafest world renowned? Didn't think so.

haha that's because it sucked. basically:

the dude (john?) was about to get the guy who had kidnapped the chick, then those 3 ghosts who kept appearing everywhere started whooping his *** and he fell down a big hole and died. then the bloke who kidnapped the girl was about to kill her, but then somehow (even though his phone had no signal and ran out of battery) some coppers magically appeared in the room they were in and shot him.

that's about it, unless you meant the last 10 minutes or so, opposed to the very last few scenes. if you meant that, then just ask again
