Lars would have been a better manager than drummer for Metallica IMO.

Metallica, - Lars, + Nick Menza.

:smash:
That's be awesome.

fatbandit 10-08-2005 02:59 PM

Hell, I wouldn't have been surprised if after Donington when Lars was ill they replaced him with Joey

They had trouble keeping up with him for Creeping Death.

DaveTheAmazing 10-08-2005 03:39 PM

Yo metallica gang. I've really been diggin 'Bad Seed' lately. Anyone else like it? The intro is such a head banger

Britton 10-08-2005 03:41 PM

That is a amazing concert! I love Joey's work on it, He is such a
insparation to me. the way He got up there with no notice and
just did.

"Were doing it man were fukking doing it"

"Hey when do we get masks? na were ugly enough"

Flemming Larson is a better drummer then lars

heavy metal kid 10-08-2005 03:41 PM

That's one of the songs on ReLoad that i don't like.(and i like almost all the album)

But it seems everyone else like it.

Britton 10-08-2005 03:45 PM

I'm not really into Load and Reload

lightningmetal666 10-08-2005 03:53 PM

I've stated it quite a few times but anyways, I don't necessarily like Load or Reload as a whole but I really dug tunes like Devil's Dance and Bleeding me. Very nice songs.

Anyways, we finally nailed down FTB in Garage Band. It's apparent to me that the guy that says he can play the last solo CAN'T. This really irritates me because I'm having a hell of time trying to learn the last solo to Sanitarium, not to mention I've tried in the past to learn the last solo and It kinda scared me away. I guess I could give it a shot though. God, my soloing is really lacking as of late.

King_Of_Terrors 10-08-2005 03:55 PM

I think it's funny they kicked Dave Mustain out, then he went and formed Megadeth, whom i think is a much better band, with a hell lot better drummer.

lightningmetal666 10-08-2005 04:16 PM

yeah I like Metallica but Megadeth's sh*t is soooooo much more difficult to play. (props to them for that)

/suddenly has the urge to get :smash: ed

Sorry, just wanted to try out this new smiley.

Man, Mama Said is a great song. I've been really liking it lately.

I can :D

The very last sanitarium solo or the one with wah? The very last is probably one of Kirk's easiest...

Last_Caress 10-08-2005 08:28 PM

I haven't tried Sanitarium yet, maybe I should if you say it's easy.

PepsiMetal 10-08-2005 08:57 PM

Anyone heard of the download 2004 festival where joey jordison did creeping death, and seek and destroy? Man, his beats are 10 times better than lars'. He did other songs too but he basically played lars' beats there.

Yea, that intro riff kicks lots of fucking ass. That's one of the best opening riff metallica made since like early 90s.

yeah 90s had some cool intros like my friend of misery and stuff, but i mean their coolest intros...and this is my opinion...were in the 80s. i mean then they had awesome intros in like battery, and justice for all, fade to black, sanitarium, damage inc., ride the lightning, one, blackened, and more. i mean those were the glory days. yes metallica is good now, and their 90s stuff ruled as well, but the 80s were their glory days.
