Well, Prurient's half is one half hour long song that was recorded in a hangar, if I remember correctly, and Akitsa's side is black metal. Guess there's some noise influences in the intro of the first song.

It's some of my favorite Akitsa material.

why the generic black metal vocals? why the generic black metal production? the generic black metal riffs? varg never used to do any of that. it really sounds like he's playing to an audience rather than expressing himself truthfully. it's dumbed down. it confuses me that someone who so outspokenly wants to distance himself from the community he's been such an influence on has done something so predictable and generic. possibly he's sold out, i mean, he's got to keep feeding his family somehow.
