What are/were your colours of choice? I always liked a Red deck full of instants backed by some phat creatures.

I like to go White/Blue for its elegant combination of stopping power - White for a fast and often strong defense, Blue for subtle magics, "bounce" spells and counters. My current deck is a 60 card White/Blue, heavy on the artifacts and with a hint of Black. What it lacks in raw power it makes up for with moderately fast spells, cheap blockers that keep coming back, and a clever use of tiny artifacts. Some games can take up to half an hour, including that time I "decked out" a 120 card deck.

Magic: The Gathering is real. I can see it. I can touch it. I can taste it. I can hear it, usually when throwing down the spell that destroys any chance you had of winning.

However, I do know what you mean, and I love to play real card games. I play all sorts of Poker, Cribbage, Hearts, Spoons, Spades, etc.

I play Clock and Blackjack and that's about it.
