foad i guess

been woken up by my mother because out damn isp has emailed us again to tell us we are using too much internet, im only going on mx as well really, its her using it as well, but she doesnt understand that.
she seems to think that someone is connecting to our wireless connection even though ive told her that its impossible >:¬(

sorry, just had to say it

ChodaBoy 06-18-2006 03:53 AM

Well....its not entirely impossible...

tumples 06-18-2006 04:05 AM

it pretty much is, im on WPA protection, and thats pretty impossible to crack as I dont think theres anyone who lives next door who can do a "packet forgery attack"

Refl 06-18-2006 04:45 AM

I got pwned by my own tiredness last night.

I fell asleep just as download highlights began, the tv was on when i woke up this morning.

Jev 06-18-2006 05:16 AM

It wasn't too great.
I was expecting them to show some of Master of Puppets. I was sitting there thinking "they better not play something like Sad But True ffs." and then it came on.

Wtf is up with Sky? I wanted to watch wrestling.

PAJJ 06-18-2006 06:47 AM

I thought they were crap, i got like a minute of an AiC song :-/

Mexican Bandito 06-18-2006 06:51 AM

I've got a free house and a funny smell in my room :-/
I can't figure out what it is...

tumples 06-18-2006 06:59 AM

FVG27 06-18-2006 06:59 AM

I had that once. I cleared out my whole bedroom until it was spotless. Still couldn't figure out what it was till I saw an old mug on my windowsill with 4 days old cuppa soup in it. Ew.

Mexican Bandito 06-18-2006 07:02 AM

I can't get under my bed, it's one of the block ones....

I've got no food up here apart from an empty can of pineapple. Argh
It could be my bin but I've just got paper and chewing gum in it.

On the subject of hobos, did you hear about that guy who got the diamond ring thrown in his little hobo pot? He's from my town, I always see him when I go shopping... what a dude.

Mexican Bandito 06-18-2006 07:22 AM

He must be living the high life now!!

FVG27 06-18-2006 07:26 AM

*tuts*

A CD. Anyway, whatever you get him he's bound to say he loves it- parents are like that.

EDIT: nevermind.

Some guy jewellery? Maybe a tie or cufflinks?

Mexican Bandito 06-18-2006 10:35 AM

He never wears ties, or shirts.

I was thinking maybe a tshirt but I'm not so sure now...

FVG27 06-18-2006 10:37 AM

Yeah t-shirt could be an idea- is he kinda trendy?

Mexican Bandito 06-18-2006 10:52 AM

haha

lol
Well kinda, hmm old man trendy if you know what I mean.

Jev 06-18-2006 11:02 AM

Hmm so apparently my copy of windows is not genuine.
I mean it only took the computer nearly 3 years to tell us this.

Mexican Bandito 06-18-2006 11:04 AM

^^ that sucks, it happened to out computer downstairs. After almost 2 years, then it basically stopped working...

I've given up trying to find something so I'll pop into Debenhams on my lunch break on Tuesday and get him something :-/

PAJJ 06-18-2006 11:06 AM

i had messages appear saying that, microsoft have recentley started sending things out to checks :-\

Jev 06-18-2006 11:13 AM

Money grabbing bastards.

If this breaks I'll kill.

PAJJ 06-18-2006 11:24 AM

 i don't think it actually does anything it's just messages, it might limit your use of media play and IE, but i don't know, oh and you probably can't download stuff from microsoft, but it's irriating more then anything, i just rolled back my computer and the nasty messages went bye bye.

Jev 06-18-2006 11:27 AM

Cool.
My friend has had it for some time.

I use Firefox anyway which is cool.

Mexican Bandito 06-18-2006 11:50 AM

I couldn't use any windows applications like word or media player.
And it resricted being able to download updates for certain programs...

It's all fixed now though

Jev 06-18-2006 11:52 AM

WMP is okay.

MSN messenger won't work though.

tumples 06-18-2006 12:11 PM

Refl 06-18-2006 12:14 PM
