It rules but I like the s/t and Winterkälte more. |
That's not what he's saying.
Yeah. Basically (and I haven't heard the album like most of you have by now, so maybe my opinion will change once I actually do hear it), but I really didn't see how the samples could attract as much negative comments as they did. I already said that I agree with the fact that samples could be completely misleading, and I do agree that ones opinion might change once they hear that actual thing, for the better or worse. But I'm just speaking of Belus in particular, here. Whatever, most of you might say what I'm saying doesn't really mean anything as, like I said, I still haven't listened to the actual album hehe. And I won't anyway 'till it's released. --- Anyway, Autumn Aurora is too good. Sunwheel <3 Probably my favorite on the album. |
yea Automn Aurora is good - haven't listened to it in ages though but i was planning on listening to some Drudkh today since i've been in a black metal mood.
also thinking about downloading some albums i haven't heard yet, Peste Noire and Vordr came to mind, i've noticed people talking about them in this thread. any other recs? i'm not too experienced with black metal |
Get Volahn - Dimensiónes del Trance Kósmico.
And yeah, Autumn Aurora is fantastic, I haven't been listening to much BM the past few days, think I'll do that today though. Gonna start with some Cirrhus. |
Yeah, Wind Of The Night Forests is one of my favorite Drudkh songs.
So is Belus up for download somewhere yet? |
yes probably everywhere, blogsearch it
Get Volahn - Dimensiónes del Trance Kósmico.
will check it out, thanks |

|

i only have Kingdom of Poccolus but it isn't half bad. |

|
Such a good CD. I've noticed you seem to listen to it a lot!
anyone like Poccolus? i only have Kingdom of Poccolus but it isn't half bad.
Why are you bringing them up and asking if people's heard of them if you don't think they're that great to begin with? |
maybe he wants to hear/read other people's thoughts on the band?
|
ima fight you
|
sure justin
:p |
Such a good CD. I've noticed you seem to listen to it a lot!
Yeah, it just really does it for me idk. I have Akitsa's other albums to listen to just haven't gotten around to it yet, i've found it's best not to overindulge in too many BM releases at once. |
sure justin
:p
wait, why you calling me justin
Yeah, it just really does it for me idk. Unless it's all of them. |
Goétie and Sang Nordique, that was the only information I found on other full lengths they had.
|
wait, why you calling me justin
he always says that. i know you are salad boy, don't worry :p <3 |
Ah wasn't aware he said that.
Goétie and Sang Nordique, that was the only information I found on other full lengths they had.
Ahh. Get their split with Prurient and Soleil Noir, as well. |
i'm going to have to disagree with you guys about this burzum album. it says nothing. it has no atmosphere, no intensity. varg's lost it. ugh this is horrible
old burzum had a great deal to say, varg alienated himself from just about everything popular in metal and society in general. every album had a new feel to it, new direction. varg contributed a great deal in developing black metal. this stagnates around what is popular in metal now. it has no imagination, no feel. all of the riffs are bland (except for the reused riffs from daudi baldrs). if i didn't know this was burzum i'd think i was listening to some third rate darkthrone clone... why the generic black metal vocals? why the generic black metal production? the generic black metal riffs? varg never used to do any of that. it really sounds like he's playing to an audience rather than expressing himself truthfully. it's dumbed down. it confuses me that someone who so outspokenly wants to distance himself from the community he's been such an influence on has done something so predictable and generic. possibly he's sold out, i mean, he's got to keep feeding his family somehow. he's lost it. |

no he's had a guitar in prison for years
|
oh
well that seems dumb he could kill someone with that |

I need to listen to them/him still. Where should I start Justin, ahem, I mean R&M? |

He's known for having a well developed sense of irony. It would not suprise me in the slightest that his first release is a pisstake of the current state of affairs. |
