I can remember Pokémon on SM:TV but what did they do? I have a bad memory.

Doctor Night 11-03-2005 11:18 AM
I only just started to. I ws too scared to post incase the UK people hated me.
Why would they hate you?

Also, yes I do remember SM:TV live and the Pokemon thing. I remember Pokemon Cards and the controversy they caused more.

Brew 11-03-2005 11:20 AM

They had the Pokerap.

Ant and Dec had these big red jumpers with Pikachu on them, Dec was always really un-impressed by it all...

braindoctor 11-03-2005 11:21 AM

pokemon sucks

but

i admire them for ripping off tons of kids for shiny paper that really does take balls to try something like that

Jev 11-03-2005 11:22 AM

Jev 11-03-2005 11:27 AM

I have too many cards. Over 2000.

Jev 11-03-2005 11:49 AM

duffroxmysox 11-03-2005 01:59 PM

Butler: the underground rules! hehe tis true so just shh and we have trams too- much bigger and betterer than manchester trams :)

Pokemon does suck- I was never into it (thank god) and um yeah.....

Untitled 11-03-2005 02:04 PM

The undergroud was ok, but rush hour put me off, and an old man farted near us.

I FILLED OUT MY ART FOUNDATION APPLICATION FORM!!!

Brew 11-03-2005 02:15 PM

I have 900+ Magic the Gathering cards.

Magic > Pokemon

SM:TV with Ant & Dec was very funny, much better than the crap thats on for kids these days.

duffroxmysox 11-03-2005 02:17 PM

EDIT: Brum the other day me and me mates were walking to the shop during lunch and saw a postie so er kinda started singing the sm:tv song to him...I dont think he understood english though :(

Try doing rush hour mixed with extra people going to a gig....and being shorter than a smelly man whose armpit your nose is in and there is nowhere to move.....oh how I laughed at my mate

I've got way more Magic cards than that, Brum.

Also, do you play a 4 or a 5 string bass? I can't remember.

I prefer the met over the underground, and its more fun, the trains need replacing, there hiting 80mph+ on the rails, and they shake so much, its well fun. especialy if we are met serfing.

Heh, you're not smart enough to figure out Magic.

All of us COOL people will be over here playing Magic... I guess you can't come.

Jev 11-03-2005 03:43 PM

I was, what, 8 years old and you expect me to have figured magic by then?
Yu-Gi-Oh's even better though.

Brew 11-03-2005 03:44 PM

I was playing Magic when I was 8/9...

Mike - I'm a 4-stringer, hopefully going to get a 5, maybe 6 string bass within the next year or two.

Spectrum 11-03-2005 03:46 PM

Thank you, that's good to know.

And I've been playing magic for at least ten years... so I was at most 8 when I started.

pwned.

Brew 11-03-2005 03:50 PM

Christ.

It just hit that I've been playing Magic on/off for almost 10 years aswell...

moaner 11-03-2005 03:53 PM

The best pokemon was definately Onyx.

Brock was like "Hey Misty, check this out, i'm hard as a rock :naughty:"

Yeah, remember the days when Counterspell and Circle of Protection were all you needed to own? Or when Crash of the Rhinos was the coolest thing to have? Or when sets like Mirage came out?

Yeah. We've been kickin' it old school.
