what kind of a stand should I get for the octoban(s) I'm making? or how could I just attatch it to a stand?

ok on my main snare (Recording Custom 14 x 6) there are these black things on them. They are located under the strainer and buttplate. They are used to be able to put on an extra long wire but i have no idea what they are called...

can anyone help me?

they are usually called side rollers.

if it gives you the sound you want then obviously there isnt a problem, but if you dont like it or you want the wires pressed against the head a little more... that wont be possible.
