Prince of Darkness 05-17-2006 06:58 AM

I finally like Rosetta Stoned! Yay for me!

You listening Kurrpt?

kurrpt 05-17-2006 06:59 AM

yea, i hear ya...

and you're a nub for not liking it sooner :thumb:

Prince of Darkness 05-17-2006 07:04 AM

It's still not one of my favourites. Intension is the worst song on the album, but it's not bad.

kurrpt 05-17-2006 07:08 AM

i really gotta be in a mood for a slow song to dig that one. My bro is ALL about Right in Two

Prince of Darkness 05-17-2006 07:09 AM

I love Right in Two aswell. But the top half still owns.

kurrpt 05-17-2006 07:43 AM

im been listening to heavier music lately, so id have to agree. Theres really a point in all the tracks that i think it "builds" to. Those points alone make the track special in my eyes, and thats really all that matters

UpperDecker 05-17-2006 07:58 AM
It's still not one of my favourites. Intension is the worst song on the album, but it's not bad.
Dude, Intension is amazing. Its probably the most mellow/chill song they've made. I love the bass line in the song.

taylormemer 05-17-2006 08:02 AM

Mmmm, Intension is very ambient. I love the Disposition-esque tones. It's very meditative and peaceful.

Prince of Darkness 05-17-2006 08:16 AM

well, I have expecting a heavy album, so I'm a bit put off by something like Intension. It's not bad though

Duman 05-17-2006 08:20 AM

I agree with that, i love the first half of the album.

Txus 05-17-2006 08:50 AM

I love Jambi so much!

kurrpt 05-17-2006 08:52 AM

i REALLY love the end, where he sings

"SHINE OOONNNN FOREVER, SHINE OOON....!"

Txus 05-17-2006 08:58 AM

I love the intro and then how it builds up is

kurrpt 05-17-2006 08:59 AM

to me, the whole song builds to that end part i love so much, making the track "complete" in my eyes
Tool frontman Maynard James Keenan announced today that Tool will be releasing a DVD on June 6 of this year. Consisting of a video for their radio single "Vicarious" as well as an 18+ minute epic for the songs "Wings for Marie" and "10,000 Days (Wings Pt.2)," this will be the bands third DVD release in under a year and their fourth DVD release to date. The first was a limited release CD/DVD (or VHS) combo that hit stores late 2000.

Expected to be included with the package will be three live performances recorded during their 2002 summer tour as well as one brand new performance. Keenan comments:

"Adam [Jones] has been working diligently on the video for Vicarious and we are elated about the video's release. We also started working on a combined video for Wings 1&2 a few months ago and it has been in the editing room since. It is just amazing. It is very personal to me, so we had to do it right."

It is unknown as of now if the DVD release will be named after the single or if the name will be entirely unique. More news should be revealed in the upcoming weeks leading up to the release.
^^
This better be real, or it's 50 lashings for you..!

RideTheSpiral 05-17-2006 10:28 AM

Kurrpt, you overuse that smiley so much, it's almost sickening.

JamJar 05-17-2006 11:52 AM

The worst smiley is the rollseyes smiley. God I hate that.

----> :( the best one

kurrpt 05-17-2006 12:21 PM

i see the "" as someone pretending they are better than you, as if you over looked the obvious. I tihink that says less for the person using the smiley, that the person its directed towards

Prince of Darkness 05-17-2006 12:25 PM

I only use the  smiley when someone misses sarcasm.
